Several prevention and control methods of aphids in flowers, know how to maintain flower seedlings
Flower aphids harm tulips, peach blossoms, cherry blossoms, oleander, plum blossoms, hollyhocks, orchids, melon and leaf chrysanthemum, pansy, calendula, cornflower, carnation, iris, freesia, lilies, apricots, pomegranates, as well as Solanaceae, cruciferae, cucurbitaceae and other flowers.
Aphids are the most harmful pests to flower seedlings (seedlings), and almost every kind of seedling is damaged by one or more kinds of aphids. It absorbs a large amount of juice from seedlings by piercing and sucking mouthparts, which worsens the nutrition of seedlings, stagnates or delays their growth, causes serious abnormal growth, induces coal fouling disease and spreads a variety of plant viruses.
The main species of aphids are:
1. Peach aphid (Myzuspersicae): also known as peach wing aphid, vegetable aphid, etc. At least 103 plant viruses can be transmitted to peach aphids.
two。 Cotton aphid (Aphisgossypii): also known as melon aphid. It can harm peony, red, cucurbitaceae flowers, chrysanthemum, hollyhock, chicken crown, melon and leaf chrysanthemum, orchid, canna, primrose, tulip, lily, carnation, cyclamen, hibiscus, rose, mulberry, bauhinia and other seedlings. Cotton aphid can transmit at least 46 plant viruses.
3. Lotus aphid (Rhopalosiphumnymphaeae): can harm lotus, water lily, plum blossom, peach blossom and other seedlings (seedlings).
4. Although the chrysanthemum aphid (Macrosiphoniellasanborni): also known as the chrysanthemum aphid. Can harm chrysanthemum, wild chrysanthemum and other chrysanthemum seedlings. It can transmit at least 5 kinds of plant viruses.
5. Rose aphid (Macrosiphumrosivorum): seedlings that can harm rose, rose and other rose plants.
6. Apple aphid (Aphispomi): can harm peach blossom, pedicel begonia, Hawthorn and other seedlings.
7. Peach tumor aphid (Tuberocephalusmomonis): it can harm seedlings such as elm leaf plum, plum blossom, peach blossom, cherry blossom and so on.
8. Peach powder big tail aphid (Hyalopteraamygdali): also known as peach powder aphid, peach pink green aphid. Can harm peach blossoms, elm leaf plum and other flowers and trees. It can transmit at least three kinds of plant viruses.
Prevention and control methods:
1. Eliminate the insect source to clean up the greenhouse and eliminate the overwintering insect source. For those who raise seedlings in flower production greenhouses, it is necessary to strengthen the prevention of aphids for growing flowers.
2. Biological control uses natural enemies such as aphid cocoon wasp, ladybug, aphid fly, lacewing, spider, aphid mite and so on. Control by using microorganisms such as aphids and molds that cause disease by aphids.
3. Silver gray film is used to drive aphids, and silver gray film strips are laid at intervals on the working track and around the seedbed, which should be carried out before sowing or transplanting seedlings. For peach aphids, yellow boards can also be coated with sticky oil to induce stickiness. The board is generally 1 meter long and 20 centimeters wide.
4. The key spraying parts of chemical control are the growing point and the back of the leaf. 1.8% avermectin (mites) 3000 × 5000 times, 10% imidacloprid wettable powder 2000 times, 50% aldicarb 1500 × 2000 times had special effect on aphids, but had poor effect on cotton aphids. Or 20% methotrexate EC 2000 times, or 2.5% Uranus EC 3000 times, or 25% cyanohydrin EC 1500 times, or 40% dimethoate EC 1000 times, or 20% compound liuyangmycin EC 1000 times, or 30% acephate EC 1000 times. Dimethoate and omethoate may cause drug damage to cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, peach blossoms, elm leaves, begonia and Rosaceae flowers, but should not be used generally. Dichlorvos has obvious drug damage to plum blossom and elm leaf plum, so we should be careful in the application of rhododendron. Trichlorfon is harmful to cherry blossoms and plum blossoms.
