In the selection and purchase of Cymbidium seedlings, the first batch of seedlings unearthed with the same variety and sown at the same time, that is, the so-called "potted seedlings", have stronger growth potential and are good seedlings. Then choose the seedlings with luxuriant leaves, thick fleshy roots and tender green, and the seedlings with slender roots are better. If the seedlings have grown 3 leaves, the advantages and disadvantages can be determined according to the above leaf characteristics. Whether there are folds in the leaves and the size of the plant shape are not the criteria to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of Cymbidium.

In winter, the magnolia should be moved to the room sitting north to south to receive light. Gentleman orchid should always maintain 60% environmental humidity, should often spray water to its leaves, generally spray once a day. And often wipe the dust off the leaves with a wet cloth to keep it clean. This can increase the luster of the leaves, be conducive to growth and prevent the occurrence of diseases and insect pests. The dirt and moss on the basin wall should also be brushed clean in order to keep the gentleman orchid growing vigorously. The gentleman orchid enters the dormant period in winter, should control the moisture, as long as does not make the soil too dry, does not need to fertilize. The indoor temperature reaches 6 ℃ ~ 7 ℃, which can survive the winter safely.
