Fish is the main pillar project of aquaculture in China, there are many kinds of fish, and different species have a certain culture area in our country. As the summer gradually enters, the temperature is getting higher and higher, the management of fish culture is becoming more and more important. And there are many things we need to pay attention to in fish farming in summer. So today, the editor brings you some points for attention in summer fish farming. Let's take a look!

1. Rational fertilization

Summer is not only the key period of bait feeding, but also the peak growth period of fish and the period of high oxygen consumption. During this period, farm manure should not be used in fish pond fertilization, mainly inorganic fertilizer, so as to avoid water pollution. When fertilizing in summer, the amount of fertilizer should be reasonably controlled according to the water quality of the pond, weather and other conditions. The transparency of the water body should be kept around 25cm. Fertilization should be carried out in the morning on warm sunny days because of the increase in nitrogen in the water in summer. Therefore, the fertilizer should be mainly water-soluble phosphate fertilizer, mainly with a small amount of fertilizer, and the water should be changed properly after fertilization.

2. Regulation of water quality

The water quality management of fish ponds in summer is also very important. A little poor management will easily lead to water deterioration. After entering the summer, we should often observe the water in the pool and change the water regularly to inject new water. It can not only increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in water, but also increase salt nutrients such as iron and manganese. It can also discharge the harmful substances metabolized by the fish in the pond water to ensure the balance of nutrients in the pond water. Under normal circumstances, each fish pond has to change water at least 3 times a month, and the depth of each change is kept at 30 cm.

3. Bait feeding

Because of the high temperature and other environments in summer, the food intake of fish will decrease significantly. Therefore, attention should be paid to the control of bait feeding in summer, and the feeding amount should be kept at the usual 8 stroke 10 or so. Do not put in too much, because if the temperature increases, the water temperature will certainly be affected and rise. If too many fish are not eaten, and the remaining bait is not fished out in time. Then the deterioration of residual bait will lead to the deterioration of water quality, breed a large number of pathogens, and lead to an increase in the incidence of disease. And if you eat too much fish, it is easy to cause gastrointestinal diseases. The specific amount of feeding should be flexibly adjusted according to weather changes, water quality, food intake and other clean-up.

4. Patrol the pond frequently

After entering the summer, we should often patrol the ponds to avoid bad phenomena such as floating heads and flooded ponds. Check whether the fish has a floating head after getting up every morning, and check the eating condition of the fish after lunch. Then conduct a comprehensive examination at sunset. We should ensure that there is a good water quality and reduce the density of culture. If the floating head phenomenon is serious, then it is necessary to catch some mature fish on the market in time. If there is too much plankton in the fish pond, kill some of them in time to reduce the consumption of dissolved oxygen.

The above is a brief introduction to the matters needing attention in fish farming in summer. In fact, the precautions of fish culture in summer is that we need to do a good job of management in summer, and strengthen management in order to ensure the normal growth of fish. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. I hope it can help you all.
