1. Pay attention to the placement and illumination.

For valuable, high-grade flowers, such as Phalaenopsis, Huilan, etc., generally can not be placed in the direct sun, but at the same time the light can not be too weak. In order to beautify the living environment, some families put the flowers in the living room with weak light, or even beside the TV or air conditioner, which is not only easy to cause the electrical appliances to absorb moisture and then affect the service life, but also a kind of destruction to the flowers, absorbing a certain amount of radiation, directly affecting the beauty and life of the flowers. So it's best not to spend a lot of time in these places. Many precious flowers have high requirements for light, especially in summer, shading should be taken (50% shading net can be used) to avoid direct sunlight; in winter, because the light is weak, the flowers should be placed in places where the sun can shine.

2. Indoor temperature and humidity should be strictly controlled.

Different flowers have different requirements for temperature and humidity, and the control of temperature and humidity directly affects whether the plant is blooming or not. for example, cranes have higher requirements for temperature and humidity, requiring that the temperature should be controlled between 15-30 ℃ and the humidity should be controlled at 65%-85%. Of course, flowers in different regions have different requirements for temperature and humidity. for example, if the buildings in the north are dry, you should often spray water on the leaves for more than 24 hours, while some flowers, such as Phalaenopsis and Huilan, cannot spray water directly on the flowers.

3. Water and fertilizer management

The water quality in the north is generally alkaline. The PH is about 7.2 ~ 8.0, but the general precious flowers like acidity. The PH value is required to be between 5.5 and 6.5, so the water used for watering flowers must be treated. 1% edible white vinegar or 1% ferrous sulfate can be added to regulate the water quality and water thoroughly once a week. Fertilization can be self-made fertilizer and water, there are generally three methods: one is to dilute the soybeans in a container after fermentation; the second is to dilute the sesame sauce residue after soaking for 2 or 3 days, but this method will have a peculiar smell, and you can bury a few orange peels in the flowerpot to remove the smell; the third is to buy special flower fertilizer in the flower market.

4. Keeping flowers clean and tidy can prevent the occurrence of diseases and insect pests.
