North banana

Source: introduced from South China during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), it belongs to the Hua banana family. At present, banana is the most important cultivated species in Taiwan.

Fruity: arched or slightly arched, unripe fruit green, yellow after ripening, yellowish flesh, meticulous meat, sweet and fragrant taste, excellent quality. The average fruit handle is 8-9 hands, the fruit finger is about 20-25 cm long, and the fruit weight is about 25 kg, which can reach 30-35 kg.

Xianren banana

Aliases: Ganjiao, Xiongjiao

Source: it is a variety of northern banana buds. It was found in Zhuzikeng in Taichung in the early years of the Republic of China that it had strong adaptability to barren soil in the mountains, with the most planted in the middle of the country.

Fruit shape: banana flesh is fragrant and sweet, known as "Ganjiao", and because the fruit is shaped like a bow, it is called "Xiongjiao" in Taiwanese. The most common varieties are Beijiao and Xianren bananas. The flesh is soft, sweet and delicious. The fruit finger is fat, the outer edge of the pericarp is not obvious, and the end of the fruit fat is smooth. The banana has an excellent ripening effect. When the skin is slightly black, the best flavor is generally called sesame banana, but if the epidermis becomes completely black, it has produced qualitative change and lost its flavor.

Baodao banana

Alias: new Beijiao
