Buttercup is also called celery flower. Any flower friend likes to order vegetables before the flowers bloom, but this guy doesn't have to pretend to be like a vegetable. Anyway, don't worry about the buttercup raised in the terrace before it blossoms. Mother-in-law kept saying, there is nothing to grow such a big pot of celery. I almost didn't get cashew nuts! It is a cold season flower, to the hot day claw natural dormancy, cold weather to meet again, so do not worry very much like her, specially recommended to flower friends!

The propagation mode of Ranunculus mainly includes bulb ramet propagation, seed propagation and tissue culture propagation. Because the multiple of seed reproduction is high, the color is bright, but the flowering is less, the growth period is longer, and the requirement of cultivation level is higher. Therefore, the commercial bulb root of buttercup was produced by sowing method, and then the finished buttercup was produced with bulb root in order to improve the cultivation benefit of buttercup pot flower.

Friends, speaking of buttercups, it really makes us love and hate. I have heard the truth of many kinds of buttercups, but I can't raise this onion well. In the end, how to plant buttercup seeds? there is a lot of theoretical knowledge about buttercup sowing on the Internet. Xiaomei specially collected and sorted out the experience of various flower friends for novice flower friends' reference. Well, please call me Lei Feng!

1. The sowing time of Ranunculus chinensis seeds

Buttercups can be sown in mid-September at the earliest. If you want to open in New Year's Day's Spring Festival, you need to sow seeds in early August, but you must first sprout at low temperature and then sow. It is said that some studies have shown that when the dried seeds are pretreated at low temperature (- 1 ℃ plus minus 0.2 ℃) in a closed environment, the seed vigor is the best, (5 ℃ plus minus 0.2 ℃ compared to minus 1 degree Celsius), and the lower temperature vigor decreases.

2. The germination temperature of buttercup.

Buttercup seeds higher than 20 ℃ are not easy to sprout, so sow in late autumn (flower friends should think carefully because of the difference in temperature between the north and the south). Practice: buttercup seeds can be put in the refrigerator to promote germination, because the best germination temperature of buttercup is 5-15 ℃, germination time is generally about 10-20 days, there are also 30 days for germination, flower friends should be patient. Fresh buttercup seeds germinate more easily.

3. Some basic periods from sowing to flowering of buttercup

It takes about 5-6 months for buttercup to blossom from sowing to flowering. If it germinates at the end of October of that year, it usually blossoms at the beginning of March of the next year. Buttercups are difficult to spend the summer, but it is more appropriate to sow in autumn and bloom in the following spring.

4. Choose a suitable seedling container.

The seedling container should be a hard plastic nursery box with a length of 50 cm 60 cm, a width of 30 cm, a height of 8 cm and a lot of small holes at the bottom. Can be made with wood, the size depends on the amount of sowing, the height is not too high. When it is too high, if there is too much soil, it will not be easy to dry for a long time; if there is little soil, the high walls will affect the light. Make the bottom of the nursery box to hit the drainage hole, and be sure to soak in water for 2-3 days before use, until thoroughly, otherwise the box is easy to separate from the soil.

5. Selection of matrix.

In the matrix ratio, the fully mature barnyard manure, humus soil, fine sand and garden soil were mixed according to the ratio of 2 to 1, sifted with a sieve that could sieve sorghum, and sterilized by sun exposure for a day.

6. Sowing method

The sowing method is to mix the seeds and fine sand in a basin in a ratio of 1RV 1500, then spread them evenly on the fine soil, and then gently press the seeds on the fine soil with a smooth plank, not compacting, so that the seeds can merge with the fine soil. Finally, soak the nursery box in water, the water level can not exceed the soil surface, soak with water until soaked. Take the soaked nursery box out of the water, cover it with a glass plate to moisturize (do not use plastic film, because it is easy to hurt seedlings by dripping), control the water slightly, and immediately move to an environment suitable for seed budding.

Depending on the variety, it will sprout in 4-5 days as soon as possible and 7-10 days in slow ones. After the seeds germinate, take away the glass plate and wait for most of the seedlings to be moved to a place suitable for growth and maintenance. It is worth noting that when the true leaves of flowers are no more than 2, never spray water from above them.

Note:

The temperature, humidity, light and soil needed for buttercup germination are very critical. For example: Germany primrose can not soak seeds, after soaking seeds easy to lose vigor; buttercup seeds like low temperature, seedling temperature should be about 8 ℃, more than 12 ℃ is very difficult to emerge; petunia and other seeds should be at a temperature of about 25 ℃, if soaked in the low temperature for 1-2 days, the seeds may rot, do not emerge. Some seeds are light-loving, some are light-disgusted, and good seedlings can be produced only under suitable environmental conditions.
