A wide variety of rose flowers bloom throughout the year, the color is extremely rich, such as red, white plain jade, yellow satin, purple still gemstone, bright color, colorful, is incomparable to many flowers.

High pressure is one of the commonly used methods in rose reproduction. In the past, high pressure was a relatively ugly bag of soil wrapped in rose stems. Flower friends with ideas came up with the idea of using coffee cups (which can also be replaced by disposable cups) to do high pressure. The biggest advantage of this method is not only beautiful, but also can directly take a small basin down after taking root.

Instead of listing the tools and specific methods here, we will open the side of the cup and make a hole in the bottom, as shown below:

Then find the stem segment with high pressure, preferably not the only main stem of a rose, so as not to affect the growth of the seedling. But it should be strong enough, otherwise it will be no different from the cuttings, since what the high pressure wants is strong seedlings. Cut off the residual flowers above and scrape off the skin of 2~3cm with a knife on the stem. Scrape off the green skin to reveal the white xylem. The upper and lower incisions should be as flat as possible. The upper and lower thorns can be broken off so as not to affect the operation. The bud of the lower incision should be scraped off with a knife to avoid germination.

Cover the prepared paper cup on the stem and seal the incision with duct tape. Carefully fill in a clean medium (optional medium: peat, water moss, sawdust, nutritious soil, etc.) the cup can also be reinforced with tape and nylon rope. The surface of the medium is covered with a wet napkin (to prevent Rain Water from washing off the medium). Later, the napkin can be changed several times to pour water through the cup until the bottom hole leaks.

In the future maintenance, the paper towel can be watered once and thoroughly. Cut off the high-pressure bag in about 35 ~ 45 days and move it into a small basin to continue maintenance.

Summer rose cuttage survival is difficult, it is better to try rose high pressure this method, generally 2 weeks can take root, the first high pressure more than 10, transplanting survival 100%. The disadvantage is that it is troublesome to operate and difficult to operate in large quantities. However, a female parent can reproduce 1-4 roots, which is directly a big seedling! The following are the main points of operation:

1. First prepare art knife, water moss or coconut health (it has been proved by experiments that water moss takes root fastest) small plastic bags, sterilized alcohol or potassium permanganate (I usually don't use it)

2. Select the girdling position of the mother plant and the 1CM under the bud (pay attention to Lignification of hard branches, thin and soft shoots are not desirable)

3. 1-1.5CM in the girdling area is fine. Pay attention to scraping off the xylem, which is an important factor affecting rooting.

4. Wrap the ring with water moss in a plastic bag, do not wrap it too tightly, pour water into it after a week of healing, and then add water when it is dry.

5. You can cut it out and transplant it after a month, and you can plant it directly with water moss.
