Luo Hansong is elegant and upright, with a strong and vigorous momentum, coupled with the implication of "longevity" and "auspiciousness" in Chinese culture, owners who pursue high-grade courtyard beautification often like to plant one or two trees of Luo Han pine, adding a masterpiece to create their own "garden-style tale". As a slow-growing tree species, Luohan pine itself can not be copied quickly, especially the large size and beautiful shape of Luohan pine is difficult to obtain. It is understood that engineering seedlings with a breast diameter of more than 10 cm on the market mainly rely on imports.

Luohansong is ready to peel off the ring at 2 centimeters, can it be propagated under high pressure? In fact, high-pressure reproduction is possible, generally high-pressure or cuttings can be started after the warm weather in the beginning of spring. It should be noted that the balance of supply and demand of plants, it is best to use strong twigs to grow faster, remove most of the branches and leaves and leave a small amount, use sand beds to cultivate roots faster, pay attention to shade, moisturizing, about 2-3 months to root.

High pressure is a good way to obtain material quickly, compared with cutting propagation, high pressure can shorten the time, and it is the best choice for ordinary enthusiasts.

The principle of high pressure is to use the plant cambium to produce callus under the condition of injury or stimulation, and this kind of tissue has the ability of regeneration and can make up for what the plant lacks, such as xylem, phloem, root, stem and so on.

By girdling the branches, the cambium is destroyed to form healing tissue. For the upper plant, there is no root, so the healing tissue is triggered to take root.

As the water of the plant is transported through the xylem, as long as the mother plant in the lower part of the girdling grows normally, it can normally supply water to the upper high-pressure plant without death, so the success rate is higher.

However, there are still some problems to pay attention to:

First, the length of girdling must not be too small, for those fast-growing varieties, it is easy to heal up and down, unable to reach the rooting mother.

Second, the more vigorous the upper high-pressure plant grows, the more organic matter it accumulates, and the more energy it accumulates down to the healing tissue for rooting, which will accelerate the speed of rooting. Therefore, the upper part usually has to be sacrificed, and the time of high pressure is usually carried out during the rapid growth of plants in spring and summer.

Third, the lower mother plant is cut off from the phloem and does not get organic matter, which will be exhausted if it takes too long, resulting in "starving to death" and rotting roots. In this way, not only the mother plant will die, but also the high-pressure plant will not get water, and all previous efforts will be wasted. Therefore, the solution to this problem is either to provide organic matter with independent seedlings on the mother plant, or to provide water with independent seedlings on the high-pressure plant, so that it can be foolproof.
