Grafting method of mountain pine potted landscape
Grafting can improve the quality and ornamental effect, so grafting is often used in bonsai creation. Due to the strong sprouting power of the green wood, the first knife down the hill is often the truncated trunk, which is cultivated into a new trunk by using the ideal side branches of the pile foundation, which is dwarfed and condensed into the scene in the basin. However, it is a good way to create this kind of mountain pine bonsai by grafting "changing crown" and turning ugliness into beauty.
The bonsai beauty of mountain pine is thick in the skin, but because of this, coupled with a lot of turpentine, grafting is more difficult than miscellaneous trees. Therefore, the grafting of mountain pine bonsai must first grow strong trees, let them grow crazy, and turn the grafted branches into "fat branches" before they can be grafted. Wuzhou mountain pine bonsai grafting is mostly used by grafting and seedling grafting. There are two kinds of leaning grafting, one is cultivating young seedlings, the other is leaning with branches, and there are original piles with branches and pots with branches.
The grafting methods of Pinus elliottii are as follows:
1. Cultivate seedlings to connect with each other. 2. The original post with branches and the pots with branches. 3. Grafting through seedlings. 4. Dress dry and pick up.
The specific steps / methods of grafting are as follows:
1. Choose the grafting scion, about 10 cm.
2. Pick the needles on the scion about 2 cm below the top.
3. Use a tool knife to cut the flat edge at the end of the needle removal. The other side operates according to this method, while making the incision on the phase plane basically symmetrical.
4. Make a small opening early on the old pile branch of Pinus elliottii, and the size is moderate to the scion socket.
5. Insert the pre-made scion into the small mouth just made.
6. Wrap the plastic film around and insert it into the grafting place of the scion.
The grafting time should be in the growing season. Before grafting, the old branches must peel off the old skin of the grafting site, the operation must be accurate and fast, and the binding should be firm, so as to prevent the sap (rosin) from solidifying to form a thin film to hinder the infiltration and growth of cells. After binding, you can use dual-purpose sealing glue or tape film to cover waterproof, confirm the successful gradual weaning, and then completely cut off in the second growth period.
In Guangdong, it is also used for piercing and connecting, which is done by drilling vertically at the position of the stem, removing the front end of the branch with slightly the same diameter, leaving the needle head pierced, forming a layer on one side, and then binding and fixing it, and the effect is also very good.
