Early winter is the key period for nutrition accumulation and flower bud differentiation of potted flowers. Do the following work at this time:

According to the habits of flowers and the demand for temperature, determine the appropriate time to enter the house. Winter dormant flowers, such as rose, pomegranate, lotus, etc., should be placed indoors at 3: 5 ℃; winter semi-dormant flowers, such as sweet-scented osmanthus, gardenia, camellia, etc., should be placed in a cold greenhouse above 5 ℃; flowers that continue to grow in winter, such as four seasons crabapple, carnation, etc., should be placed in a greenhouse with 8: 10 ℃.

Fertilize the flowers in time, and the basin soil should be irrigated in time after fertilization. In addition, it can be combined with spraying for extra-root topdressing to supplement flower nutrition. The commonly used topdressing is 0.5% urea, 1% calcium superphosphate and 0.3% potassium sulfate.

Flowers and trees such as pruning rose, Fusang, poinsettia, hibiscus, kumquat and other flowers that bloom on the branches of the current year should be pruned during the winter dormant period to promote them to send more new shoots, flowers and fruits; perennial vines and flowers, cut off dense branches, overlapping branches and branches of diseases and insect pests; for shrubs with ornamental branches, choose the new shoots close to the backbone branches for re-truncation to make them produce new branches.

Loosen the soil in time to keep the basin soil loose.
