Methods and steps:
1. Cut branches, according to different seasons, spring or summer will take green tender branches 5-10cm; summer to autumn, cut gray-white branches 10-15cm; autumn cut brown hard branches 15-35cm,
2. Rub the leaves off the lower part of the branch with your fingers. If the cuttings are too tender, you can clip them off with tweezers.
3. Put the treated branches into a transparent container and add enough water to the lowest height of the leaves.
4. Then put the plant in a sunny place, change the water every 2-3 days in the first week, and then wait for the water to become turbid.
5, 5-8 weeks, the lower part of the branches grow many small white roots, continue hydroponic culture, wait until the root length to about 5 cm, you can take out part of the branches for soil culture, or continue hydroponic culture. However, hydroponics should be properly replenished with nutrient solution.
Note:
1. Before cutting, the leaves at the bottom of the cuttings must be removed, and the leaves must not come into contact with water, otherwise they will rot easily and affect the hydroponics of this plant.
2. If you choose the stem of a small shrub such as rosemary, it will take 2 to 6 weeks to take root, while the vanilla stem of other soft branches will usually take root in a few days.
3. Before rooting, change the water every three days, but after rooting, you only need to change the water after the water is turbid, or when there is less water.
