Rapid rooting method of green pineapple cuttings
Experienced potted friends all know that potted green pineapple is very easy to raise, so many people like to plant their own cuttings. Although the method of planting green pineapple is simple, how to shorten the rooting time of cuttings has baffled many people. After testing, in order to shorten the rooting time of green pineapple cuttage and let it take root quickly, we should pay attention to the selection of cutting substrate. Charcoal powder can be used as the main cutting substrate, which can not only make green pineapple take root quickly, but also improve the survival rate. It won't cause root rot.
Why is that? In fact, charcoal has strong adsorption capacity and has a good effect of fixing water and heat preservation, which can be said to be a natural heat preservation and moisturizing equipment. This provides a natural growth environment for cutting green pineapple, which can not only promote plant metabolism, but also accelerate the healing of cuttage wounds and purify harmful substances in water, even in high temperature weather.
Of course, charcoal should be mashed before use, and then the fine and uniform powder should be screened, washed with clean water and dried. Charcoal and humus-rich loam can be used as the best cutting medium.
The following are the specific steps for fast rooting cuttings:
1. Dip the base of cuttings prepared to be pruned in advance with rooting powder or indolebutyric acid, which will also contribute to the rapid rooting of green pineapple cuttings.
2. As with other cutting processes, small holes are inserted into the culture soil in advance, and the holes are kept at a proper distance between the holes, so that the holes on the bed in the basin look more uniform, and will still be uniform after the branches are inserted.
3. Insert the cuttings in turn into the holes above, pay attention to inserting the end dipped with rooting powder as the base, and then compact the soil around the cuttings.
4. The next step is to carry out maintenance management. The cuttage of green pineapple has certain requirements in maintenance and management. As long as the following requirements are followed, the cuttings can take root quickly and eventually survive.
1) after the branches are inserted, pay attention to keep the basin soil moist and adjust the air humidity at the same time. The humidity of basin soil should be 50%, and the humidity of air should be 80-90%. The flowerpot can be covered with a layer of plastic film.
2) at the initial stage of cutting completion, shading measures should be taken to keep it at 80% shade, which not only avoids sunlight exposure, but also receives astigmatism, which is conducive to photosynthesis and promote rooting.
3) when the plant basically takes root after 20 days, the film needs to be removed to increase light, but shading and moisturizing still need to be done in high temperature in summer and cold and warmth in winter when the temperature is too low. After taking root for more than 10 days, it can be transplanted into the pot and transferred to normal management.
