Good evening, everyone, and I have some free time today, so I will come up and discuss with you the knowledge of cuttage breeding of Pinus elliottii. Perhaps, when it comes to the breeding of Luo Han Song, some basin friends may have dug down the mountain pile with a hoe, but the editor still stays at home today to practice boy skills.

Of course, it is better to dig the finished products from the wild, but the editor is not a master who tries to make things easy. The editor is a person who loves to toss about. Without much nonsense, let's get to the point. Today, the editor will discuss the softwood and hardwood cutting techniques of Luohansong with friends in the basin.

1. First of all, we need to find a pot of Luohan pine growing well.

2. Choose the sturdy branches to be cut as cuttings. The picture below is the cut branches.

3. Then cut off shoots of about 10 cm in length from the cut branches as cuttings. Twigs are annual semi-lignified branches.

4. Cut off a stiff branch with a height of about 15 cm, and the branch must have a complete lateral branch with a thickness of 1-2.5 cm.

5. Because there is a cut at the tip of the hard branch, the ointment shown below can be applied to the cut to achieve the sealing effect.

6. Now remove the upper-length leaves of the lower part of the twig to reduce excessive evaporation; if you cut off with scissors, do not hurt the bark of the cuttings.

7. Use sterilized knives to cut the base of the hard branch into horseshoes, and the two sides are symmetrical.

8. After making these branches, soak them in rooting solution and carbendazim solution for 2 hours to sterilize and disinfect, and at the same time lay a good foundation for rapid rooting.

9. After soaking, take out the branches and put them in a cool and ventilated place to dry.

10. The next step is to prepare the cutting substrate, and it is recommended to use the disinfected coarse river sand as the culture soil.

11. When cutting, use a chopstick to insert a moderate-sized hole in the culture soil according to the indefinite tilt angle to keep the cuttings grow into different shapes, and then insert the cuttings into the holes.

After the completion of the above operations, the cutting is complete, and the next thing that needs to be done is the maintenance and management.
