Cyclamen can be propagated by sowing and dividing bulbs, but most of them are sown in autumn. Because if the sowing time is too early will affect the seed germination, and the bulb is not strong enough to begin to bloom, the quality of flowering is naturally very low; if the sowing time is too late, it will affect germination because the temperature is too low. Cyclamen seeds are relatively large and are not easy to germinate under normal circumstances, so it is recommended to soak seeds and accelerate germination before sowing.

It is the most suitable for sowing when the temperature is between 15 ℃ and 18 ℃ in autumn. Before sowing, it is recommended to soak the seeds in warm water of about 25 ℃ for one day, then disinfect and sterilize them. The next step is to promote germination. First, cover the seeds with two layers of paper towels, then cover them with sealed paper towels, change the water once a day, and sow seeds after 3-6 days. Disinfect the soil before sowing. After placing the seeds, cover the soil about 0.5 cm thick, and finally cover it with a black film to block the light.

Choose the culture soil and put it in a container. Then poke some holes in the culture soil, and then place the germinated seeds in the holes one by one. Pay attention to the depth of the hole should not be too deep, about 1-2 cm depth is appropriate. Then cover it with a thin layer of soil and keep the basin moist during the period.

The seeds can grow normally in the growth environment of 15 ℃-20 ℃. Astigmatism should be provided just after emergence, and then gradually increase the light. It should be noted that if the seedlings are not provided with light after emergence, the seedlings will grow too much.

If the seedlings grow normally, they will soon grow true leaves, because cyclamen seeds grow more slowly than the seeds of other plants, so we have to be patient. When the seedlings grow 4-5 leaves, we can consider changing pots for the seedlings, so as to accelerate the growth of cyclamen seedlings.
