How to plant sunflower seeds

2. Put the seedling medium into the seedling box, and then slowly water along the edge of the medium until the water is discharged. This process is more important, can not directly aim at the medium large irrigation, otherwise it is easy to wash out the culture medium.

3. Use a toothpick to cut a small hole in the medium of each nursery box. Then dip the toothpick with water, stick the sunflower seeds, put the flower seeds into a small pit, then cover the soil and gently compact.

4. Cover the seedling tray after the sowing is finished. If it is established, it will germinate in about 1-2 weeks. Of course, the lid on the seed before germination must not be transparent, because the seed usually needs to germinate in a dark environment away from light.

5. After 3-4 weeks, after the roots of sunflower seedlings pass through the nursery box, several pairs of true leaves also germinate. In this case, we can transplant the seedlings in pots.

6. The new basin soil can be prepared with peat soil and perlite according to the proportion of 2:1, and it can be used as a new culture soil. Of course, in order to improve the fertilizer efficiency of the soil, we can also add some poultry manure such as chicken manure as organic fertilizer, mixed in the soil as base fertilizer to increase nutrients. Then transplant the sunflower seedlings in the seedling box into a new pot.

7. After transplanting and successfully slowing down the seedlings, place the flowerpot in a place with sufficient light for maintenance and management. Because the more sunlight, the better the growth of sunflowers.
