Planting techniques of Green Pepper
Green pepper is a red pepper collectively known as pepper, and ordinary pepper contrast, it is characterized by larger fruit, less spicy or even root not spicy, more as a vegetable food rather than as a seasoning. At present, it is widely cultivated all over the country, so how should green pepper be planted? Let's get to know each other.
1. Land selection and fertilization
To select fertile soil, rich in organic matter, loose soil and good ventilation, deep soil loam, flat terrain, convenient drainage, not planted within 3 years or Solanaceae vegetables and potato plots. Deep ploughing in autumn, fine crushing and leveling of soil, application of decomposed farm manure 5000 kg, nitrogen phosphorus potassium compound fertilizer 50 kg or ammonium bicarbonate 50 kg, calcium superphosphate 50 kg, potassium sulfate 25 kg per mu, timely furrow application before film mulching, ditch depth about 20 cm.
2. Sowing seedlings
Before sowing, seeds should be soaked to germinate yield, improve germination rate, shorten seedling stage, first soak in clean water, wash mucus on the surface of seeds, soak in water of 55-60 DEG C, stir continuously, after the water temperature drops to normal temperature, soak for 5-6 hours, take out and air slightly, place at 28-30 DEG C to germinate, wash once a day, and sow after most seeds germinate in 3-4 days. Seedling can be used nutrient soil or direct seeding seedlings, sowing seedlings after the appropriate amount of water to prevent drought, to avoid high temperature, appropriate amount of quick-acting fertilizer.
3. Planting
When the seedlings are 10- 15cm high and have 5-6 true leaves, they can be planted. The day before planting, they should be watered thoroughly, and then cut and transplanted with soil. The green pepper plant shape is compact, and the reasonable dense planting potential is very large, which is beneficial to early sealing. The root system is not easy to be exposed to the sun, so as to protect the roots and reduce the virus disease. Generally, 4000 holes are planted per mu.
4. Field management
Rainy season to timely drainage, so as not to retting roots, and drought to timely irrigation, to meet the needs of plant growth, green pepper must be appropriate topdressing, supplementary nutrition, to ensure the growth and development needs. Generally, topdressing is required three times, once after planting and delaying seedlings, the second time in the young fruit expansion period, and the third time after harvest. 8~ 10kg urea is applied each time. Urea is applied deep into the hole, about 10cm deep. Combined with ground fertilization, 1~2% calcium superphosphate, 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 0.1% urea mixture can be sprayed together with leaf fertilizer.
