How to reproduce green pineapple fastest?

Green pineapple is a kind of evergreen plant which is very suitable for viewing leaves, and its application value is very high, which is obvious to all. Moreover, it is also very easy to reproduce and grow so fast that it can be exploded with a little careful management. So, how can green pineapple reproduce the fastest?

First, determine the time of hydroponics.

Green pineapple is an evergreen plant, which can reproduce in four seasons, but the temperature environment in spring and autumn is more suitable, and the survival rate of reproduction is higher. Because the temperature is too high in summer and too low in winter, it often affects the growth of plants to a certain extent, so it is relatively difficult to reproduce seedlings. Therefore, it is most suitable to be carried out in spring and autumn.

Second, select hydroponic branches

Since we adopt the method of water culture to induce rooting and then transplant to realize the breeding of green apple seedlings, we first need to select the branches used for water culture to induce rooting as cuttings. Although green pineapple can also be propagated with thick leaves, it is often more advantageous to cut sturdy branches to water for reproduction.

It is required to cut strong, fresh branches with aerial roots from the mother plant as cuttings, generally cut into branches of about 20 cm in length with scissors as cuttings, and remove redundant leaves at the lower end during water cuttings.

Third, build a hydroponic environment.

In order to achieve the effect of water culture to induce rooting, we can prepare an empty plastic bottle and fill it with the right amount of mineral water, or use pure water. Of course, if there is no water source of such quality, we can also use ordinary clean water. If tap water is used, rest for 2-3 days before use.

4. Rooting induced by water insertion

After setting up the hydroponic environment, insert the prepared green apple cuttings into the bottle so that the lower stem segments of the cuttings are not below the surface of the water. Then put the bottle in a cool position, and at the same time control the ambient temperature and change the water regularly. In order to accelerate growth, you can also apply some nutrient solution or auxin. Generally within a month, we can see that the aerial root on the green apple cuttings has gradually grown into a more developed root system. When these roots gradually blacken, we can transplant them into flowerpots for soil culture.

5. Transplanting seedlings for soil culture

The process of changing green pineapple from hydroponic culture to soil culture is very simple, just take it out of the water and transplant it into the culture soil as a small seedling of a common plant. Water once after transplanting, then place the flowerpot in a cool and ventilated place to slow down the seedlings. At the beginning of the period, we insist on spraying some water to the leaves every day to moisturize, but we should water as little as possible, and generally wait until a week later when we start to draw out new leaves before returning to normal water supply.
