How long does it take to sow thornless rose to graft rose?
It is said that autumn is the season of harvest, but it is true at all. In this way, the fruit of the thornless rose can be harvested, and it can be used to sow and breed rose seedlings. As we all know, rose is a very good rootstock material in the process of grafting rose. This for the natural growth is relatively weak rose varieties, in the rose grafting improvement, often can receive a wonderful effect. So, how long will it take for the thornless rose to sow and graft the rose?
Grafting rose with rose as rootstock can often increase the growth rate of rose by 3-5 times, which is very good for improving the cultivation efficiency of rose. However, to cultivate roses by sowing, if the seeds purchased are detached from the flesh, the budding rate is generally very low, even less than 1%.
Therefore, if you sow, you need to use the seeds wrapped in the pulp, and the seeds should be fresh, because the fresh seeds are more active and the budding rate is naturally higher. You must not buy dry seeds to sow. Otherwise, the budding rate will be affected to a great extent.
However, in general, sowing requires detaching the seed from the pulp a month in advance, because the pulp contains a substance that keeps the seed germinating. Then mix the seeds proportionally with coarse sand or perlite and put them in a plastic bag and refrigerate them in the refrigerator for a period of time. The cold storage temperature is kept between 1 °C and 2 °C, and the seeds can be removed and sown after about 1-2 months of cold storage.
Not only that, we also need to deal with the seeds before sowing. Before sowing, it is recommended that the rose be treated with gibberellin, with a concentration of about 150 mg to 1 liter of water. Then soak the rose seeds in solution for 24 hours, and then sow them, so that the sprouting effect is better.
When sowing, first flatten the soil, then pour it thoroughly, and then spread the seeds evenly into the soil together with perlite or coarse sand. Then cover the soil. But it takes a skill to cover the soil. If the covered soil is slightly thicker, the seeds will grow taller after budding, and the Hypocotyl will grow longer, while the rootstocks used for grafting in the later stage will grow taller and easier to operate.
However, usually we can cover soil with a thickness of 1-2 cm. At the same time, build a small shed on it. In spring, the seeds will sprout soon. Then, after another year, we can take the way of root grafting to cultivate rose. And can be dug and grafted at any time, the survival rate is as high as 99%, the effect is very good. This is often much higher than the survival rate of directly buying seedlings for grafting.

What if the rose that is cut or girdled doesn't take root?
There are many propagation methods of rose, among which the efficiency of cutting and high pressure cultivation is relatively higher, and the survival rate is also higher. However, sometimes we will find that whether it is the cutting rose or the high-pressure ring-peeled rose, we can only see the callus, but not take root. So, under the circumstances,
