In flower cultivation, the use of solid fertilizer is not only difficult to master, but also more troublesome. If liquid fertilizer is used, nutrient solution is used to raise flowers, which is convenient and effective.

Several kinds of nutrient solution formula and usage were introduced. The most commonly used flower nutrient solutions are the following two: (1) potassium nitrate 0.7 g/l, boric acid 0.0006 g/l, calcium nitrate 0.7 g/l, manganese sulfate 0.0006 g/l, calcium superphosphate 0.8 g/l, zinc sulfate 0.0006 g/l, magnesium sulfate 0.28 g/l, copper sulfate 0.0006 g/l, iron sulfate 0.12 g/l, sulfuric acid 0.0006 g/l. Usage: When using, mix all kinds of compounds together, add 1 liter of water, it becomes nutrient solution, water flowers directly. When the amount is large, it is used according to the proportion. (2) 5g urea, 3g potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 1g calcium sulfate, 0.5g magnesium sulfate, 0.001g zinc sulfate, 0.003g iron sulfate, 0.001g copper sulfate, 0.003g manganese sulphate, 0.002g boric acid powder, 10L water, fully dissolved into nutrient solution. Usage: Pour once a week during the growing period of potted flowers. The dosage of each time depends on the size of the plant. If you like positive flowers, pour about 100ml each time, while you like negative flowers. Winter or dormant period, once every month. Tap water is still used for watering at ordinary times.

Precautions for the preparation of nutrient solution: 1. Glass, enamel, ceramics and other utensils are used for the preparation of nutrient solution, and metal containers are forbidden. 2, is in the preparation should first use a small amount of warm water at 5O℃ to dissolve various elements, then pour into water, while stirring, fully mixed. When using tap water to prepare nutrient solution, a small amount of humic acid compounds should be added to treat chloride and sulfide in water; rural areas can be prepared directly from river water or lake water.
