Whitefly is a widely distributed pest in open fields and greenhouses. Harm jasmine, orchid, a string of red, rose, peony, mulberry and other flowers.

Damage characteristics: mainly with adults and nymphs clustered on the back of the host plant leaves, thorns suck juice harm, so that the leaves curl, chlorosis yellowing, and even withered. In addition, it can also secrete honeydew and induce coal pollution disease.

Occurrence regularity: it can reproduce all the year round in the greenhouse. Outside the greenhouse, it can occur from May to October, and more in July and August.

Prevention and control methods:

(1) to strengthen quarantine during the transportation of plants.

(2) White whitefly especially likes yellow, so yellow trapping board can be used to kill it.

(3) Chemical control.
