Poultry manure is an important source of high-quality fertilizer, and chicken manure is the essence of high-quality fertilizer. Its nutrient content is higher than other poultry and livestock feces and urine, nutrients are mostly organic, easier to decompose, higher fermentation temperature; chicken manure contains 50% water. 5%, organic 25. 5%, nitrogen 1. 63%, phosphorus 1. 54%, potassium 0. 85%, also contains more trace elements and vitamin B, its content is second only to pigeon dung, but the output is higher than pigeon dung. Each chicken produces 15 jin of fertilizer per year, which is 2% of pigeon dung. Five times. Chicken manure has a wide range of origins, low cost and good application effect, so it is a good flower fertilizer.

When sowing in spring, chicken manure is used because of its long fertilizer effect, and when used as base fertilizer, the fertility does not decrease in the same year, and it can improve the soil once and for all, which is beneficial to plant growth; as topdressing, because the fertilizer effect of chicken manure can be maintained for about 2 months at a time, the effect is very good.

The application of chicken manure fertilizer in early spring has been proved by practice that because of its high fertilizer efficiency and consolidation, under the same growth condition, the effect of chicken manure fertilizer is better than that of other fertilizers, and the plant growth is obviously good; the backbone is thick, the tiller is luxuriant, the leaf is thick and green, the flower shape is large, the color is bright, and the flowering period is longer.

The storage and use of chicken manure should be as follows:

First, the nutrient concentration in chicken manure is high and easy to decompose, especially to avoid the loss of nitrogen. there are two storage methods: one is to add 5% superphosphate to chicken manure, stir it evenly and deposit it into a pile, and seal it with soil; the second method is to store it in a cylinder and cover its appearance with water, and the cylinder mouth is sealed with plastic paper, so that it can be thoroughly fermented and cooked, and can be used in about three months. When used as base fertilizer, scoop it out and use it. If it is used as topdressing, it can be diluted with water.

Second, chicken manure is a hot fertilizer, the effect is better, but we should pay attention to avoid using raw fertilizer, excessive use, and should control the principle of "frequent application of thin fertilizer". When used as base fertilizer, both ground and potted plants should maintain a distance of more than 5 cm from the flower root to prevent fertilizer damage.
