1. Drying and stir-frying. Culture substrates such as river sand for flower seedlings are placed on the cement floor before sowing and exposed to the hot sun for 2 to 3 days, which can kill germs and insect eggs.

2. Heap fermentation. Composting of cultured soil matrix and organic fertilizer and closed fermentation can kill germs and pests.

3. Formalin disinfection method. Spray 40% formalin 50 times solution 400 to 500 ml per cubic meter of cultivated soil, mix it evenly on the heap and seal it with plastic film for 48 hours.

4. Carbon dioxide disinfection. Pile the culture soil into a cone or rectangle, insert several holes at a certain distance, inject 3.5 grams of carbon dioxide into the hole with 3.5 grams of carbon dioxide per cubic meter, then plug the hole with soil, and then cover it with film for 48 to 72 hours.

5. Chloropicrin disinfection method. Make the culture soil into a square 30 to 40 centimeters high, press the spacing of 20 centimeters, drill a hole 20 centimeters deep with a wooden stick, inject 5 milliliters of chloropicrin into each hole, seal it with soil, then water it, then cover it tightly with film for 15 to 20 days, uncover the film repeatedly and mix evenly, both sterilizing and killing insects.

6. Potassium permanganate disinfection. On the seedbed of flower sowing and cutting, after turning the soil and making bed preparation, pour thoroughly with 0.1% to 0.5% potassium permanganate solution, cover the stuffy soil with film for 2 to 3 days, remove the film and then sow or cuttage, which can kill the germs in the soil and prevent rot and blight.
