There may be two reasons for the death of rotten roots after dripping water. One is that the basin soil is too wet, because Cymbidium likes loose and transparent soil conditions. Once the water in the basin soil is too large, its thick fleshy root stops growing or grows very slowly from October to November. It does not need much water, but only needs to keep the basin soil moist. It is inevitable that too much water will cause rotten roots. Second, when you pour water, the dirt will flow into the center of the leaves of the plant, and at this time, the leaf transpiration consumes less water, and the dirty water accumulates in the leaves, and it will become a rotten heart and rotten root. In general, the gentleman orchid can spray the leaves with a hand-held sprayer, but can not form large water droplets into the leaves, and then wipe off the fine dust and water droplets on the leaves with a clean wet towel. Even if you spray too much water in spring, especially when dirty sewage drops into its leaves, it is easy to cause rotten heart and rotten roots and die. After entering winter, Magnolia should also be placed in a room with a temperature of not less than 10 ℃ to avoid freezing.

Phalaenopsis is an epiphytic orchid, which requires not only high air humidity, but also no stagnant water in the cultivation substrate, otherwise it is easy to cause plant rot and root death. After entering winter, it can be watered once a week, the time should be from 10:00 to 11:00, it is not suitable to water more in cold weather, in order to keep the cultivation substrate a little dry. Phalaenopsis should be kept in an environment of no less than 10 ℃ in winter, with certain light conditions. If the foliar spray is given, it is best to spray, so as not to form stagnant water in the center of the foliage. The spray can be carried out around noon, and the water temperature is required to be basically the same as the air temperature. after an afternoon of evaporation, the leaves have dried up and there are no more water droplets, which can be conducive to its overnight and safe winter. The rotten root of your Phalaenopsis has a lot to do with spraying too much water on the plant, resulting in more stagnant water in the leaf armpit at night, and the cultivation substrate is too wet. The suitable temperature for the growth of Phalaenopsis is 20 ℃ to 30 ℃, and a relatively warm environment should be created for Phalaenopsis in winter. If there is more water retention in the leaf armpit after foliar spraying, the water droplets can be absorbed away with towels or toilet paper and must not be taken lightly.
