Magnolia can not only decorate the hall and beautify the environment, but also purify the air. Several pots of orchids are cultivated indoors, which can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen through photosynthesis, which can play the role of "purifier" in the process of metabolism.

Cymbidium prefers cool and warm climate, is suitable for scattered light, avoids direct sunlight in summer, is not resistant to severe cold in winter, and the optimum temperature for growth is 15: 25 ℃. The leaves are easy to turn yellow in the high temperature environment above 30 ℃. The growth rate is fast in spring and autumn, and is in a semi-dormant state in summer. Requires fertile, loose forest humus, suitable for growing in pH 6.7 slightly acidic or neutral soil.

1. Separate planting

After sowing, the seedlings were divided into two plants when they had two leaves. The basin soil can be used after mixing 7 parts of horse dung soil, 3 parts of river sand or 7 parts of forest humus soil and 3 parts of river sand. When planting the seedlings in a small pot, gently fill in the culture soil so as not to hurt the roots. After planting, it should be watered thoroughly and put in an indoor ventilated place. The temperature should be kept at 15-20 ℃. In the seedling stage, when the summer temperature is high, water is watered once a day. When the temperature is low in winter, the basin soil should be dried and then watered, and there is no need for fertilization, and the nutrients contained in the new culture soil can meet the needs of seedling growth.

Wait for the seedling to grow to 2-year-old seedlings, every spring and autumn can be forced to apply thin cake fertilizer and water, but do not splash the fertilizer on the leaves, so as to avoid rotten leaves. The 2-year-old magnolia should keep the soil moist and keep the temperature at 15-25 ℃. When the summer turns warm, should put the gentleman orchid in the outdoor half-shaded place, avoid the sun exposure, when the winter turns cold, should put in the indoor sunny place to prevent frostbite. In this period, if the plant is well managed and the plant grows healthily, it can be opened after 3 years, but it will just take 4-5 years or more. In the process of growth, if the temperature is too low and the soil dries early, it will affect the growth of flowers and produce the phenomenon of arrows. If this phenomenon occurs, first of all, it is necessary to ensure that the soil contains sufficient moisture, keep the room temperature at 1720 ℃, and apply 0.1% urea and 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate mixture, or the use of gentleman orchid arrow promoter, can promote scape.

In addition, in the process of growth, leaves are often yellowed. There are four main causes of yellow leaves: one is sunburn. Second, the water and fertilizer is too large. The third is excessive alkali or acid in the soil, and the fourth is the lack of nitrogen fertilizer. Solution: ① will put the magnolia indoors or under the shade where there is scattered light to avoid direct sunlight and keep the temperature at 15: 25 ℃. ② changed the culture soil, cut off the rotten roots, and controlled the use of water and fertilizer. ③ changes the pH of culture to make it neutral or slightly acidic, and pH6.7~7 is suitable, so don't irrigate ferrous sulfate fertilizer and water. ④ adds drunken cake fat and water. If we pay attention to cultivation, the phenomenon of yellow leaves will be eliminated.

2. Change the basin

With the growth of the plant, the root system will gradually increase, and the pot needs to be changed. When changing the basin, it is necessary to remove the old roots, rotten roots, and add new culture soil, so as to promote growth. Generally, the basin needs to be changed every 2 to 3 years, which can be carried out in spring and autumn. Do not water immediately after changing the basin, so as to avoid infection and decay of the root wound.

The above is the breeding technology of Cymbidium, as long as we usually have more patience and maintain in accordance with scientific methods, I believe it is not a very difficult thing to cultivate Cymbidium!
