How to raise orchids, teach you the specific methods of raising orchids, and understand the cultivation techniques of edible fungi.
Magnolia is a perennial herb of the genus Amaryllidaceae, with a florescence of 30 to 50 days, mainly in winter and spring, and New Year's Day also blooms before and after the Spring Festival. The magnolia has high ornamental value.
Living habits: like plenty of sunshine, humid environment, avoid dryness, afraid of heat, more resistant to cold
Soil: like thick, good drainage soil, it is appropriate to choose humus soil and river sand 4:1 mixed into nutrient soil, or use special gentleman orchid soil.
Illumination: it is a semi-negative plant and does not need strong light in the process of growth. Avoid strong light in summer, should be properly shaded, which is beneficial to leaf growth; in winter, strong light will shorten the flowering period, and moderate strong light can prolong the flowering period.
Temperature: like cool, avoid high temperature, the suitable temperature for growth is 15: 25 ℃, if it is higher than 30 ℃, it will cause overgrowth, and stop growing when it is lower than 5 ℃.
Humidity: the orchid should always maintain a relative humidity of 50% to 75%. When the leaf tip is less than 50%, the leaf tip will be scorched, and water should be sprayed on its leaf surface, usually once a day. If there is heating in winter, the air humidity should be increased, otherwise it is not conducive to growth and development. You also need to wipe the dust off the leaves with a wet cloth to keep it clean. This can increase the luster of the leaves, be conducive to growth and prevent the occurrence of diseases and insect pests.
Watering: like to wet, keep the basin soil moist is conducive to growth, but to prevent stagnant water, so as not to cause rotten roots. The water demand is different in different growth periods, less water is needed in seedling stage, more water should be irrigated in arrow stage, more water should be irrigated in spring and summer, and less water in autumn and winter.
Fertilization: add rotten cake fertilizer to the pot, apply nitrogen fertilizer every half a month during spring growth, apply phosphorus fertilizer once a week when drawing arrows, and stop fertilization in summer and when the temperature is below 10 ℃. Avoid applying thick fertilizer and raw fertilizer.
Pruning and plastic surgery: Cymbidium is a succulent herb, generally does not need pruning and shaping, the cultivation process should be careful not to hurt the leaves, affecting the normal growth of Cymbidium.
Methods of reproduction: sowing reproduction and individual plant reproduction can be used. Sowing and propagation: spring is the best, and the optimum temperature for germination is 20: 25 ℃. The seedlings can be transplanted to pot about 3 months after sowing, and the seedlings can not blossom until 4-5 years after sowing. Split-plant propagation: the axillary buds were extracted from the axillary leaves of the mother plant of the adult plant, and when they reached 6-7 leaves, they were smeared with fine furnace ash and planted with fine sand, kept at room temperature for 20-25 ℃, and put on the pot after rooting.
Pest control: the common diseases are white silk disease and soft rot, and the common pests are scale insects. White silk disease: can be irrigated 50% carbendazim wettable powder 500 times 600 times solution to control. Soft rot: scrape off the rotten part with a disinfection knife and spray it with penicillin or oxytetracycline 4000-5000 times aqueous solution. Scale insects: 1000 times of omethoate EC can be sprayed.
Display: with strong air purification function, suitable for display in the living room, study, windowsill and balcony and other places.
