1. Separate the tillers (foot buds) of more than 15 cm around the rhizome of the mother plant, plant them in a small basin, pour enough water and put them in the shade.

2. Move to semi-shade after a week. If the seedling has no root, you can use B12 liquid to coat the cut, and then insert the base in a clean sand basin. Because there is no root, it is easy to fall down. You can make a fixed frame like a lamp hook with electric wire, put the leaf in the hook ring, insert the handle in the sand, and cover it with a transparent plastic bag. The water content of potted sand is kept at about 50%, placed in a shady place, and the temperature is kept at 20-25 degrees Celsius. New roots can grow after 20-35 days, and then cultivated in the basin.

3. The ramet should not be too small and too big, the growth is slow, and too large will affect the growth of the mother plant. The management of the mother plant after ramet should also be strengthened, and the incision should be coated with charcoal powder or plant ash, and the moisture should be properly controlled and fertilizer should be applied within one month after ramet to make it grow healthily.

4. It can also be combined with the split when turning the pot. When cultivating one-year-old seedlings, it is suitable for 3 inch pots. Change 5-inch pots in the second year, and then change into larger flowerpots every 1-2 years, usually after flowering in spring. (source: AiNong Network)
