Prevention and control of diseases and insect pests of edible fungi, young and weak orchid seedling culture method
The reasons for the emergence of young and weak orchid seedlings are as follows: Dragon root seedlings grown from orchid species, or young and weak seedlings produced by scale ball regeneration from orchid plants injured by humans and animals or abnormal death. This kind of seedling has poor disease resistance, low survival rate, and is not easy to cultivate, so it is difficult to blossom in 7 to 8 years. Therefore, the cultivation of this kind of seedlings must be selected purposefully. Such as the regenerated seedlings of precious and rare orchids, and the nameless seedlings that you think have high cultivation value.
No matter what kind of seedlings you get, you should first trim the residual roots and leaves, rinse the soil and traces of the roots and leaves with clean water, then soak the orchid seedlings for 5 to 10 minutes with 0.5% topurazine or other fungicides, shake them slightly, and lift them upside down to dry. After the root system whitens slightly and softens to a certain extent, it can be put on the basin. For single or double seedlings, you can choose a basin with a diameter of 10 to 20 centimeters and soak in 5% sterilizer for 1 to 2 hours before use. It is best to use fresh sawdust with less fat and fine particles in the cultivation medium, cook or chemically sterilize it, filter out the yellow sewage and then plant it. Sawdust has certain heat preservation and water retention, which is beneficial to the root bud differentiation of orchid seedlings. Chemical nutrient liquid fertilizer (sold in the market) can be applied all the year round, which is very suitable for the initial directional culture of orchid seedlings.
After the seedlings are put on the pot, they should be soaked thoroughly for the first time. Wait a moment after the water is leached from the basin hole, and then add 0.3 to 0.5% of the chemical nutrient solution and 0.2% topiramate mixture, the best way to use fine-hole spray. Finally, the leaves of aseptic cotton balls were dried with stagnant water and kept in a cool and ventilated place for 10 days, and a little water was sprayed on the leaves every morning and evening in order to achieve the purpose of damp orchid leaves. If you move out after survival, you can appropriately reduce the number of water spraying, apply 0.3% and 0.1% of the nutrient solution plus topurazine every 10 to 15 days, the humidity of the basin soil should be kept at 65 to 70%, and the temperature (basin soil) should always be kept above 18 ℃. About 15 days can explode shade root, can grow into strong seedlings in the same year. If properly managed year after year, buds can be pregnant for 4 to 5 years.
After planting, we should carefully observe the seedling situation, pay attention to the weather changes, and do a good job of heat prevention and heat preservation. If you use water in winter, you should pay attention to the temperature difference and make the seedlings receive morning light. Medicine and fertilizer should be light. If it is found that the seedlings are seriously injured, they can be irrigated with clean water, or they can be irrigated in time and then implanted after turning over the basin. The hygrometer can be inserted into the basin to observe the difference between temperature and humidity. The basin should be turned once after three years, and then it can be cultivated with mixed soil and managed according to the traditional maintenance method.
