Orchids are herbaceous plants, and their incidence in artificial culture is much higher than those growing naturally in the forest. According to my plant protection records of orchids, orchids are most prone to the following diseases due to the differences in temperature, humidity, light and gas and the uncleanness of ambient air.

Anthracnose, black spot, orange, rust spot and other easy-to-occur orchid leaf diseases. For the prevention and control of orchid leaf diseases, I take three control methods:

One: foliar spray: methyl topiramate 1000 times liquid can be used, or carbendazim 800x liquid can be used to sterilize and control disease with water spray of a kind of medicine. Pest control can be mixed with dimethoate 1000 times liquid or methamidophos 1000 times solution to kill insects, but methyl thiophanate and carbendazim can not be mixed together, because the two drugs mixed together will produce resistance and lose the control effect. In the season of high temperature and humidity, the prevention and control effect is better according to the proportion of medicine solution every 10 or 15 days.

Second: root irrigation sterilization method: for the occurrence of black spot, anthrax. Serious diseased orchid plants can be sterilized by root irrigation, and the specific method is to irrigate the basin soil or soak the basin with carbendazim 1 ∶ 1000 times liquid, and at the same time sterilize the foliar spray solution once a week, the effect is very good.

Third: injection disease elimination method: generally for the diseased leaves of orchid diseased plants with serious black spot and anthrax, the method of cutting is usually adopted. If you encounter an art grass, it is a pity that it is cut off. I adopt the principle of imitating medicine to treat the diseased leaves of orchids with injection. The effect is very good.

Use a disposable 20ml syringe to inhale 18ml liquid into the diseased spot on the leaf surface of the orchid and inject the liquid at the same time, and give an injection to each spot. After three days, the lesion disappeared, and a piece of sterilized foam was used at the bottom of the injection to prevent the needle from getting stuck in the hand.

Although orchids will get sick, as long as the correct use of drugs and timely prevention, they will be able to grow beautiful orchid leaves and brilliant flowers.
