To explore the high-yield cultivation techniques of edible fungi, and the control techniques of orchid petal gray mold
The pathogen of petal gray mold damage is Botrytiscinerea. The disease is characterized by the emergence of small round brown freckles on petals and sepals, which is more common in Phalaenopsis, Cardelia and Oncidium, and is mainly caused by high humidity and poor ventilation. When it is low in winter and spring, in order to avoid outside cold air invading the greenhouse to damage orchids, doors and windows are often closed or heat preservation methods are made, resulting in high relative humidity of the air in the greenhouse (more than 90%), which is a good opportunity for the disease to occur and spread. The fungal disease is a widespread pathogen with hundreds of hosts, which can infect flowers, ornamental plants, vegetables and fruit trees. If the butterfly orchid flower is infected, it will not only affect the ornamental value, but also reduce the commodity value, and even have no way to sell, resulting in great loss. The prevention and control methods are as follows:
(1) pay attention to ventilation and reduce environmental humidity.
(2) before the first flower unfolds, start spraying 2000 times of 50% acetaminophen wettable powder, and then spray it every 4 weeks.
(3) during flowering, the diseased flowers are immediately removed, destroyed or buried.
(4) other ornamental plants and flowers inside and outside the greenhouse should also be protected by spraying at the same time.
