Broccoli cultivation field management and harvesting

① Fertilizer and water management: the land shall be dry and wet within two weeks of planting to promote root formation; after two weeks, the field shall be kept moist and fertilizer shall be adjusted with water; after budding, sufficient water shall be ensured, and ditch irrigation shall be carried out if necessary; the ditch system shall be cleaned to ensure that there is no ponding in the ditch when the rainy season stops.

Export broccoli requires solid and robust plants, tight round bulbs, not hollow, so fertilizer and water can not be too much, to apply more organic fertilizer as base fertilizer, topdressing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, compound fertilizer, appropriate application of urea, late do not one-sided nitrogen fertilizer, in case of hollow. Fertilization: after planting and returning seedlings, apply 0.5% ammonium bicarbonate and 1% calcium superphosphate, and apply fertilizer once every 5 days or so, based on the principle of planting hole soil moisture. Hair fertilizer: 10 leaves or so, with 1% urea irrigation hair fertilizer, small vegetables more, vegetables less, sunny light, rainy concentrated, and regular watering, keep the soil moist. Flower ball fertilizer: heavy application of flower ball fertilizer, flower ball appearance, application of ternary compound fertilizer 30 kg per mu, flower ball expansion period and then apply urea 15 kg, promote bulb expansion.

2. Cultivation: Generally, 5~6 days after planting, the ground begins to harden due to operation or rain impact, and the weeds begin to sprout for the first time, and then according to the situation, the soil is dry and wet after the rain for 1~2 times. Broccoli plant tall, stem base is also high, easy to lodge, so in the plant before sealing soil once, promote the occurrence of adventitious roots and stem stout, prevent lodging. Do not cultivate too much soil in rainy season and high temperature period to avoid rotten roots.

③ Bud wiping: export broccoli only receives the top flower bulb, so the lateral buds must be wiped out in time to reduce nutrient consumption.

④ Harvest: Fresh export broccoli bulb standard: diameter 11~14.5 cm, bulb solid, round, bud fine. Single flower ball weighs more than 300 grams (including the main stem), so it must be timely harvest. Harvest even the upper 6~7 leaves cut off, harvest should be transported to the processing plant in time, can not stack pressure, in the temperature above 15℃ period, the transportation time after harvest should not exceed 8 hours, at the same time to harvest in the morning or evening.
