There are three key points in the production of edible fungi in January:

The first is to raise the temperature of the mushroom bed. January is cold, raising the temperature of the mushroom bed and creating a suitable temperature for mushroom production is the key. Adding a film outside the mushroom shed and adding straw curtain or heat preservation quilt at night can increase the mushroom room by 5-10 ℃.

The second is to replenish water and control humidity. Lentinus edodes and Pleurotus ostreatus grow in autumn, and the stick loses 40-50% of water, so it should be rehydrated in time. Open the shed for ventilation for 3-4 days before replenishing water. It is appropriate to replenish water with well water, spray water, spray more mushrooms, spray less mushrooms; spray more in bud period and less in harvest period. Mushrooms basically don't need rehydration in winter.

In addition, pay attention to ventilation. The edible fungi breathe vigorously in the bud stage, which should not only prevent the deposition of carbon dioxide to inhibit the formation and growth of fruiting bodies, but also prevent the cold wind from attacking the mushroom. Generally ventilated for 10-20 minutes before and after noon when the temperature is high, to supplement fresh air.
