1. Prevention

Because the suitable growth temperature of Cymbidium is 525 ℃. In summer with high temperature and humidity, in addition to shading, ventilation, cooling and other measures, its growth should be controlled and root maintenance should be strengthened. The main methods are: first, to raise magnolia with a mud basin; second, not to apply fertilizer or less in summer; third, to control watering in summer and adhere to the principle of no dryness and no watering. In order to prevent the summer water from stuffing the roots, the flowerpot can be buried in a large wooden box filled with wet sawdust (no watering in the basin). After that, it is often checked to add spraying water when the sawdust is dry.

two。 Treatment

If the rotten root of Cymbidium occurs inadvertently, it should be rescued in time. That is, first knock the rotten root magnolia out of the basin, remove the soil, wash the roots with clean water, and then smear the rotten roots with potassium permanganate aqueous solution, then wrap all the leaves with white paper, only expose the roots, and let the roots bask in the sun for half an hour. Use ultraviolet rays to kill germs. After treatment, if only a few roots of the diseased plant rot, it can be planted directly into the sterilized nutritious soil, and the growth can be restored after less watering in the first half of the month; if more than half of the roots of the diseased plant rot or all rot, they should be planted in a basin filled with fine sand and new roots can sprout in the shade. After about two months of new roots grow, the nutritive soil can be changed for normal management.
