How to raise a gentleman orchid to blossom? For this problem, it can be said that Cymbidium culture enthusiasts are very concerned about it. We raise magnolia not only to watch the leaves, but also to watch the flowers. So, how does the gentleman orchid grow and blossom the most beautiful? in fact, it is also very simple, that is, in the daily maintenance, we need to pay attention to every link:

The maintenance of Magnolia should use loose and fertile neutral or weakly acidic humus soil, and the cultivation soil can be mixed with 65% humus soil, 20% net sand and 15% fine furnace ash. The relative humidity of the soil should be about 40%. If the soil is hardened and the drainage is not smooth, it will lead to rotting roots. The magnolia should be applied once in winter with solid fertilizer, less nitrogen fertilizer, more phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer. Eggshell powder and retting fish water is a good phosphate fertilizer, bran ash and soot are easily available potash. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer can also be applied to promote the germination of more new plants and leaves.

Temperature: the suitable temperature for the growth of Cymbidium is 1525 ℃. When the summer temperature exceeds 30 ℃ for a long time, the growth is inhibited. At this time, if the air humidity is less than 60%, the leaves of Cymbidium will become shallow, yellowing and even wilting; if the humidity is higher than 90%, the stems and leaves will grow too much. In order to prevent the occurrence of these bad phenomena, we should reduce the temperature properly, pay attention to ventilation and light transmission, and control humidity. When the temperature dropped below SC, the growth of Cymbidium basically stopped. If the temperature drops to about OC, freezing injury may occur, which will make the leaf tip and leaf edge turn green and yellow, and even appear yellow-white necrotic spots, so we should do a good job of keeping warm in winter to prevent frost injury.

Lighting: Cymbidium is a semi-positive flower, sexual like scattered light, too strong light is disadvantageous to its growth, easy to cause sunburn disease. However, if the light is too dark and lack of light for a long time, the leaves will lose their luster, the old leaves will be dark green, and the new leaves will become thinner, yellow or yellowish green. Some people call this phenomenon of yellow leaves Yin yellow. At this time, the gentleman orchid should be moved to a place with slightly stronger light, and when it is not suitable to move, the light can be used to supplement the illumination.

Watering: the soil should not be too dry or too wet. Every time it is watered, it must be thoroughly watered, and some more should be watered after budding. Every 20 days or so, combine watering with fermented bean cake water, fresh fish water and horseshoe water to combine watering and fertilization. Watering should be controlled when the room temperature is low to prevent the basin soil from being too wet, which will cause the rotten roots of the plant to die, but it can not make the basin soil too dry.

Fertilization: bone meal, fermented fish viscera and bean cake water should be added to make the flowers bright, increase the flowers and thicken the leaves. Otherwise, it is easy to appear the phenomenon of small flowers, small number and light color. At the same time, attention should be paid to avoid excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer and insufficient phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, resulting in weak growth or excessive growth of leaves, affecting budding and flowering.

A gentleman's orchid should be taken care of carefully. In addition to changing the soil every spring, watering should not be excessive at ordinary times, and watering should be controlled in summer; attention should be paid to leaf cleaning to promote photosynthesis, and leaves can often be wiped gently with soft cloth with tea water, which can keep the leaves shiny and shiny. It is also beneficial to bud cultivation and flowering. If the gentleman orchid can pay attention to the above points, especially pay attention to the application of more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, it will certainly blossom year after year.
