Lily bulb contains a lot of starch, can be eaten, and high edible value, is mainly an important medicine, can moisten the lungs and clear the heart, the main treatment of mental trance, insomnia and dreaminess and other symptoms, it is said to have anti-cancer effect. In recent years, it has been planted on a large scale, but some inexperienced friends should pay attention to the planting conditions of Baihe and can read the article.

1. Temperature

Lily prefer a cool environment, more hardy, 12 degrees bud can germinate, to 14 degrees will quickly germinate soil, 13 to 18 degrees is the fastest temperature for stem and leaf growth. The temperature above 20 degrees and below 30 degrees during flowering is the best. After that, the bulb expansion period requires a temperature of 12 to 14.

2. Humidity

Lily bulbs like dry and breathable soil environment, including the air environment is not too humid, air humidity can be kept at about 45%, underground humidity is about 40%, too wet will be sick bulb rot, or inhibit respiratory growth. It is generally necessary to keep dry, so that the air permeability is good, the soil is not sticky and heavy, and it is easy to expand. The humidity on the ground is enough, after all, the plant still needs water to maintain.

3. Nutrition

Lily needs more fertilizer, generally needs the most potash fertilizer, followed by nitrogen fertilizer, aboveground plants are all green, and photosynthesis needs nitrogen fertilizer to promote leaf growth. But do not apply nitrogen fertilizer in the later stage, some time before harvest, the ground may have withered. Early application of nitrogen fertilizer about 200 jin per mu of compound fertilizer, the largest proportion of nitrogen fertilizer, and then in the phosphorus stem expansion period to topdressing, like 300 jin of potash per mu or 400 jin of plant ash per mu. Sometimes we should pay attention to adding some phosphate fertilizer to ensure that there is no shortage of elements.

4. Lighting

10 hours of light a day, most planting areas can meet, but the strong light is not very good for lilies, easy to sunburn leaves affect nutrition. Moreover, if the soil is too dry or dry, the bulb will stop expanding, lose water and affect the quality of the plant. It is possible to dry the lily to death. After all, the underground bulb is mainly made of water.

5. Soil

Lily is particularly afraid of stagnant water and flooding, especially the disease is easy to rot the root, the phenomenon of local all rot. Therefore, the planting land must be deep dry, good drainage, gentle slope. Do not plant in sticky, hardened, low-lying and paddy fields, preferably on land high above the paddy fields at the foot of the mountain.

The aboveground part of lily is short and thick green, and the underground bulb is afraid of water and waterlogging, so the whole growth environment should be set around the growth characteristics and needs of lilies. Then the lilies planted under these conditions are of better quality, and growers can also reduce some unnecessary losses.
