The breeze variety apple has some pink blushing apples on the yellow peel. It is fragrant and sweet, with very crisp, dense white meat. This is a refreshing and delicious snack for children and adults.

Breeze apples, currently grown by Freshco in New Zealand, were harvested at their best maturity in mid-February for two weeks. Then they will be shipped to the United States at the end of March. The unique combination of warm summer sunshine, fresh winter frost and clean and pure waters in New Zealand allows apples to ripen slowly and naturally. Therefore, they have crisp texture and rich taste.

Because of the growing demand for breeze apples, growers in New Zealand have doubled their production, and there is now acreage in Washington. They worked closely with Sage Fruit Company and its growers to bring the new variety to the United States. The climate in eastern Washington reflects the climate of New Zealand, which makes it an ideal place to grow this new variety. Soon, Qingfeng Apple will be available to consumers all year round.
