The orchid is beautiful, noble and dignified, with red and blue colors, which is very likable. The natural flowering period of its growth is mostly in winter and spring, from the flower to the end of blooming for more than 60 days, each flower can bloom for as long as a month, especially when the flower blooms. However, many potted friends have never seen the orchid blossom after potting for a long time. How is this going on?

In fact, in order to ensure that the orchid can blossom normally or bloom continuously, it is inseparable from the careful maintenance and management of the owner. Flowering plants do not bloom, which is mostly due to problems in the daily maintenance and management process. So, what factors caused the orchid not to blossom? When this phenomenon occurs, we need to find the reason from the following aspects.

1. Planting is too deep

If the flowerpot planted in the orchid is too deep, especially when the plant is planted too deep, the pot soil will naturally cover too much root neck, so it is easy to inhibit the process of flower bud differentiation. In view of this situation, it is suggested that the owner should change a shallow and suitable flowerpot for planting at the end of autumn or the following spring, covering the soil until the neck of the root, as long as all the fleshy roots can be buried in the fertile soil, do not bury too deep.

2. The flowerpot is too big

Planting crane orchid in the choice of flowerpots should not be too random and hasty, first of all, flowerpots should not be too large, the size is suitable for the depth. If the flowerpot is too large, a large amount of nutrients in the pot soil will be concentrated in the root and absorbed, resulting in the plant growing too much root system, which will eventually cover the whole flowerpot, which will seriously affect the growth of the outside part of the plant soil, and also inhibit flower bud differentiation. Affect the quantity and quality of flowering. Therefore, we must pay attention to the potted orchid, and it is suggested to choose a suitable flowerpot according to the needs of plant growth, which is one of the prerequisites to promote its normal flowering.

3. Nutrient imbalance

In the case of nutrient imbalance, potted orchid will also affect the differentiation of flower buds, resulting in less flowering or low flowering quality, or even no flowering. When the plant grows too luxuriantly, the amount and frequency of nitrogen fertilizer should be controlled to supplement it with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, such as the use of rotten thin organic fertilizer-poultry and livestock manure, and of course, thin potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution. In a word, the phenomenon of nutrient imbalance should not occur in the plant, and correct disposal measures should be taken to ensure the normal flowering of the plant.
