Many potted friends like to put potted primroses or bonsai indoors to watch. However, the best viewing period of primrose is often in the flowering period, once the flowering period does not bloom, it must be a disappointing thing, especially in the indoor conservation environment. So, how do indoor primroses not blossom?

Under normal circumstances, it takes 3-4 years for primrose to grow into an adult tree and blossom smoothly. This is a relatively long time, if we have enough patience, coupled with the proper use of post-management means, I believe we will be able to enjoy the day when the primrose blooms as scheduled. However, sometimes it is precisely because the management and protection work is not done properly, so that it can not wait for it to blossom.

To investigate the reason, the indoor spring primrose does not bloom is mainly due to the lack of light and temperature discomfort. Because the flowering period of primrose is usually from February to April, light and ambient temperature often play a decisive role in order to ensure that it can bloom normally. In order to promote the plant to blossom, the pot can be placed in a hotter room in winter, and the location needs to be sunny, the light is good, and it is important to receive sufficient light.

If the pot plant is placed indoors in a sunny place, the temperature is raised to about 13 ℃, and water is sprayed on the plant once or twice a day, it usually blooms in about 3 weeks; if the indoor temperature is adjusted to about 20 ℃, it usually blooms in more than a week. During the flowering period, the room temperature should be kept at about 8 ℃. It is inappropriate for the original temperature to be too high or too low, especially when the temperature is too high, it will often shorten the flowering period.

It can be seen that the temperature management of primrose in winter growth environment is very important, because temperature often determines whether the plant can survive the winter smoothly, determines the quality of flowering, and determines the length of flowering period. Therefore, we need to timely do a good job of temperature control, must be carried out in accordance with the requirements suitable for its growth and flowering. Otherwise, it will become empty talk to let it blossom indoors as scheduled.

In addition, our other means of maintenance and management also need to keep up, although other means of management and protection may not be a direct factor to achieve flowering, but often can provide basic protection for flowering. Mainly manifested in basin soil, water and fertilizer, pruning and other aspects. We just need to manage according to the standards and norms.
