1. Sufficient light

Cyclamen prefer light, in addition to the seedling growth period and summer need to avoid strong light, usually need to provide sufficient light for it, so usually need to put it to find a place with sufficient light. Only when potted cyclamen is illuminated more fully during the flowering period, its blooming flowers will be more delicate and brilliant, and the ornamental will be higher.

However, because the leaves and petals of cyclamen are relatively large, especially in the case of good growth, the leaves will overlap and cross each other, which is bound to block a lot of light under each other, thus affecting the germination and budding of new leaves. In view of this situation, we usually need to pull or peel away the leaves in the center of the plant, or even cut off the leaves that seriously block the light in order to promote flowering.

Second, the temperature is suitable

If you want potted cyclamen to show beautiful posture and bloom gorgeous flowers as scheduled, the original temperature environment must be suitable. Cyclamen usually begins to bloom in the middle of winter. Relatively speaking, if the temperature is too low, it will affect or even inhibit flowering to varying degrees. Usually when the growth environment temperature is lower than 5 or 6 ℃, it will be very difficult for plants to blossom, so the temperature control at flowering stage is very important, which is one of the prerequisites to ensure smooth flowering.

But at the same time, in the flowering cyclamen, the ambient temperature can not be too high, if the ambient temperature is too high, it will often make the flowers wither prematurely, thus shortening the florescence and viewing time. Usually, when the room temperature is kept between 15-20 ℃, cyclamen growth and flower bud formation and differentiation can be well promoted. And the flowering temperature should not be lower than 10 ℃, so as to ensure normal flowering.

Third, scientific moisturizing

Suitable humidity environment is very important to promote the growth of potted cyclamen, the formation of flower buds and the promotion of flower bud differentiation. Cyclamen can only blossom normally in a warm and humid maintenance environment, especially if it has a suitable air humidity. In order to ensure the normal flowering of the plant, it is usually necessary to adjust the humidity in the air environment to between 70% and 75%.

Scientific moisturizing is one of the important conditions to promote cyclamen flowering, so we need to spray water frequently around the plant to increase air humidity. Fourth, replenish water in time

When cyclamen enters the flowering stage, due to the need to consume a lot of water in flowering, the demand for water is relatively large, so it is necessary to avoid the phenomenon of water shortage in the basin, so timely replenishment of water is another important condition to ensure normal flowering. Because if there is a lack of water during the flowering period, the flower stems of cyclamen will lie on their sides and lie down because of the loss of water, and even the leaves will become wilted and yellow due to dehydration, affecting not only flowering but also ornamental.

In this case, although we can restore the plant to a better state by watering immediately, there will still be yellowing of some leaves, delayed flowering, curved pedicels and other phenomena, which will also reduce the ornamental value to a great extent.
