Potted plants are most afraid of pest or disease, especially indoor foliage potted plants, once infected with diseases and insect pests, it will not only affect the normal growth of plants, but also reduce the ornamental value of potted plants, and may even have a health impact on our living space. After all, plants suffering from diseases and insect pests will produce a lot of bacteria, secretions, feces and other filthy substances, and these substances happen to pollute our living environment, and then bring harm to human health. The same is true of Ping an tree as a kind of tree species suitable for indoor leaf observation, especially after being infected with blight, it needs to be dealt with in time, otherwise it will do great harm. So, how to treat Ping an tree infected with blight?

Potted green plants are infected with blight mainly because the growth environment is not suitable, especially trees such as Ping'an trees, which prefer a warm and humid environment. The warm, moist and airtight growth environment is precisely the hotbed of all kinds of diseases and insect pests, so in addition to choosing a suitable location, we also need to do a good job in daily maintenance and management, especially good ventilation conditions. This can avoid or reduce the risk of diseases and insect pests. However, once the Ping an tree is found to be infected with blight, we need to take targeted measures to remove it.

Blight, also known as "leaf spot", is mainly caused by pathogens invading the leaves through the leaf edge or leaf tip. The leaves infected with the disease at the beginning of the performance is to produce yellowish spots, and if not dealt with in time, these spots will gradually spread to cover the whole leaf. The color of the small spots will also change from the initial light yellow to grayish brown, or even gray. In the case of serious disease in the later stage, the color of the spot will gradually become black, which will eventually lead to the dry phenomenon of the leaves, which generally spread from the old leaves to the new leaves.

Blight generally occurs in a hot, humid and airtight environment, which is original and often becomes more serious when nutrients are insufficient, frozen or injured. In general, it is easier to invade the new leaves in summer and autumn, but it is easier to occur on the old leaves after overwintering. As this disease is harmful, destructive and easy to spread, we should deal with it in time once we find it, so as to avoid bringing us greater losses. If the potted Ping an tree is infected with blight, we mainly take the following measures to deal with it:

At the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, cut off the infected leaves in time, and then concentrate and destroy the leaves scattered in the basin and on the ground. Because the disease is stubborn and spreads easily, even if it is cut off, it should be dealt with in a timely and thorough manner. This can reduce or eliminate the pathogens that will continue to be infected in the coming year. At the same time, we also need to strengthen water and fertilizer management, especially topdressing potash fertilizer, do a good job of moisturizing and drought prevention measures, and avoid stagnant water, so as to strengthen the antibodies of Ping an tree and increase the ability of disease resistance.

In the early stage of Ping'an trees suffering from blight, we can use 25% propiconazole EC, then dilute it with 500 times water, and then spray it on potted Ping an trees, usually once a month. Or use 40% polysulfide suspending agent, also according to 500 times the proportion of water to dilute the spraying tree, keep every 10 days, generally continuous spraying 2-3 times can be effective. If neither of the above drugs is available, we can also use 50% benzoate wettable powder, then dilute it with water at a ratio of 1000 times, and keep spraying the potted Ping an tree once a week, with the same effect of 2-3.
