Asparagus is deeply loved by people because of its elegant temperament and beautiful appearance. Putting it as a potted plant indoors, whether it is to watch or decorate the environment, or even to purify the air, it can often have a very good effect. Therefore, asparagus is not exclusive to literati, and now more and more family users have joined the ranks of raising asparagus.

However, asparagus can not only be cultivated in soil, but also can be raised by water, and as long as the maintenance and management methods are scientific, it can also achieve the effect of water culture. However, hydroponic asparagus cannot be raised by cutting branches directly from soil potted plants and inserting them into water, because hydroponic asparagus generally cannot survive without roots. So, how does asparagus change from soil culture to hydroponic culture?

First of all, we have to understand that if asparagus is changed from soil culture to hydroponic culture, it needs to be transplanted with roots, otherwise the asparagus in hydroponic mode will not survive. Next, let's take a look at how asparagus changed from soil culture to hydroponic culture.

The main results are as follows: 1. firstly, a potted plant of asparagus with strong growth and good development is selected as the object of transplantation. the root of the selected asparagus is generally required to have buds, because such asparagus is often easier to survive and germinate after hydroponic culture.

2. Remove the prepared asparagus pot from the original pot, then remove the soil attached to the roots, and clean the roots with clean water, at the same time, pay attention to protect the roots as well as possible, cut off the old, weak and residual roots, and then carry out sterilization and disinfection.

3. Prepare a transparent glass container with a large caliber, then lay a layer of ceramsite at the bottom, and then put the asparagus that has been cleaned and treated on the ceramsite to keep the root system stretching freely. Then fill the container with ceramsite.

4. in order to have the humidity needed for asparagus growth in the container, we also need to inject a small amount of water into the ceramsite in the container to ensure that the ceramsite can be soaked by water, but not too much water injection, especially to prevent the water level from overflowing the root.

5. After completing the above operation, put the new asparagus potted plant with good water culture environment in the sunny place with smooth indoor ventilation, preferably near the windowsill or window to ensure that the plant can fully receive scattered light.

6. During hydroponic culture, we should pay attention to control the ambient temperature and keep moisture scientifically. Foliar water can be sprayed to the plant frequently. In this way, the cultivation mode of asparagus from soil culture to hydroponic culture was completed.
