(l) sampling: purple leaf Berberis is often propagated by cutting. the time of hanging fruit of cutting seedlings is earlier and the survival rate of cuttings is higher than that of seedlings. Before cutting, soak the base with 500*10ppm concentration of plain acetic acid, take it out immediately, and wait for it to dry before cutting. The growing cutting seedlings can be transplanted in the same year, and the most suitable time is the plum rain season, but we should pay attention to avoid direct sunlight and torrential rain.

Because of the talent idea, the cadre modelling is mainly direct style or oblique dry type, or the production jungle style. Purple leaf Berberis branches are soft and easy to shape, strong germination and resistance to pruning, so the modeling can be carried out by the combination of pruning and pruning, climbing the trunk and branches slightly, and pruning and shaping the lateral branches. In order to control the shape of the tree, the buds should be wiped and the overgrown branches should be cut off at any time in order to change the trunkless characteristics of the tree species. Short pruning and shaping climbing should be carried out in the dormant period after defoliation or before germination, which is beneficial to the correct treatment of stem retention, branch cutting angle and climbing position.
