To make landscape bonsai, we must first carry out artistic conception, determine the theme, and then take all or part of the stone materials suitable for shape according to the natural temperament of the rocks, and carve them artificially with plants and necessary accessories, and configure them into rockery. The natural scenery such as Qifeng, Gaoxia Feiyang, Baizhang Qianfeng, Cave and other natural scenery, condensed into a shallow basin, Sheng in several cases, like a three-dimensional landscape painting, such as before the blue waves and green water, between the famous mountains and rivers, full of interest.

The landscape bonsai takes mountains and rocks as the main material, through sawing, carving and other processing methods, cloth moss, embellishment plants and other means to reproduce the natural landscape of thousands of mountains, hilly forest springs, rivers and lakes in the shallow water basin. it makes people feel interesting before they are in the blue waves and green waters and between the famous mountains and rivers. So, if we don't follow suit, let's make rockery first.

Preparatory work:

Tools: saws, chisels, pliers, hammers, panels, brushes, etc.

Materials: shallow basin, rock, cement, sand and so on.

Steps / methods:

1. Conception and design: before the rockery is made, one must be sure of what kind of bonsai and what kind of bonsai to make, otherwise there will be no way to start. According to the conception, the shape of the mountain must be initially placed in the sand table. Note: the height and size of the rockery should be coordinated with the size of the shallow basin.

2. Bonding rockery: gluing mountain body

The first step is to adjust the cement mortar, pay attention to the use of the glue, but also pay attention to the consistency of the glue.

The second step, stone processing, the need to glue the mountains with hammers, chisels, saws and other tools to produce textures and more strange shapes.

The third step is to glue the mountain body. The two sides of the mountain and stone that need to be bonded are respectively coated with cement glue to make the rock coincide with each other. Attention should be paid when bonding, so that the fracture can not be seen at the place where the rock is bonded. We should also pay attention to cleaning up the excess glue at the bonding place.

3. Maintenance of rockery: after the mountain body is finished, it can not be touched immediately. Only after two or three days of water spray maintenance, the mountain body will be basically solid.

Mountain and stone bonsai also have two rockery in one basin, one is the main mountain, the other is the guest mountain. (the main mountain is taller and the Hakeshan is relatively low.) at this time, one bonsai will make two rockery.

After the completion of the mountain production, can not immediately touch, to spray water maintenance for two or three days, the mountain will be basically solid. Here are some taboos for making landscape basins:

1. Taboo texture has different colors

The texture and color of the rocks in the same bonsai should be as similar as possible to make the panorama harmonious, natural and integrated.

2. Avoid a full basin.

The landscape layout pays attention to virtual spirit and breathability. Pay attention to the relationship between deficiency and reality, and the density is equal.

3. Taboo proportion imbalance

The landscape bonsai is the artistic reappearance of the reduced natural scenery in the basin. Appropriate exaggeration is allowed, but a certain proportion still has to be followed.

4. Do not go your own way

The main peak and matching peak in the landscape bonsai, as well as the planted plants and other scenery, are an integral part of the whole. They should take care of each other, looking forward to glory, rather than doing things their own way.

5. Avoid unstable center of gravity

Works in the pursuit of momentum due to improper handling will often lead to the peak center of gravity instability, shaky state.

6. Taboo at the foot of the mountain

A basin of landscape works not only have the precipitous and strange show of the mountain peak, but also have the twists and turns at the foot of the mountain in order to make the whole landscape rich and colorful. The foot of the mountain is connected to the water surface, and through the twists and turns of the foot line, the water surface can be lingered to produce a sense of motion.
