When it comes to planting grapes, everyone immediately thinks of vineyards that cover a wide area and a large area. However, today there is good news to tell you that grapes can also be planted in flower pots, and they can still survive. Come and have a look.

Grape bonsai is a general term for container cultivated grapes, which are grapes cultivated in pots, boxes, barrels and planting troughs. Grower Li Baoying: "After this grape is eaten, its leaves will slowly fall, because the grape needs a dormant process, usually in 1400 hours." After the grape leaves have fallen, just put them in a slightly cooler place like a shady terrace. After 1400 hours or so, they will start to sprout, and then the next year, they will bear fruit through pruning."

Grape was designed into curved dragon shape, flower basket shape and fan shape by cuttage and layering method, which can be used for viewing and tasting delicious green fruit. In 2003, our center used new varieties of super early-maturing potted grapes to plant in the field. When the ears turned red in the middle and late June, they were sold by Jinan, Shijiazhuang and other city flower shops. Each pot sold for 30-40 yuan, while the comprehensive cost was only about 3 yuan. The benefit was very good. The production technology of quick potted plant grape is introduced to readers, especially those fruit growers who are engaged in grape planting and whose benefits are not high, hoping to be helpful.

1. Soil selection and seed selection. Grape can adapt to all kinds of soil except heavy saline-alkali soil. The soil must be deeply ploughed and organic fertilizer applied to improve soil fertility. Grape varieties should be selected suitable for potted early-maturing large fruit varieties. After 2 years 'selection, we think that "Tezaohong" fresh grape variety cultivated by Grape Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is suitable for pot cultivation. This variety has purple peel, belongs to high sugar type and big fruit variety, has strong rose fragrance, presses pot in early spring, and can bear fruit and color in the first and middle June of that year.

2. Open field cuttings. Cutting can be carried out in late March in the south and mid-April in the north. Cuttings, cuttings to be slightly inclined, completely inserted into the soil, the upper bud eye from the soil surface 1 cm. In rainy areas in the south, bud eyes can also be exposed to the soil surface. Grape behavior north-south, plant spacing 17-20 cm, row spacing 130-150 cm.

3. Field management. After the cuttings sprout, each plant leaves 1 main vine to grow, and the rest of the auxiliary shoots are knocked out. Seedling height of 30 cm, in order to prevent lodging, must set up a frame drawing, the seedlings evenly tied to the frame wire. The height of seedlings is 80 cm. Picked the heart of the vine. After topping, 4 accessory shoots grow on the upper part, and each accessory shoot grows 5 leaves after topping. After entering June, spray 200 times of Bordeaux mixture every 15 days to prevent disease. After grape budding, except flowering period within 10 days can not be used, every 10 days should spray a low dose of high efficiency, low toxicity, low residue pesticides pest control. Winter leaves, in the middle of the row open a width, depth of 30 cm deep ditch, and then apply pond mud, cake fertilizer and farm manure, soil sealing.

Fourth, press basin shaping. The basin had better choose the ceramic basin with a diameter of 35-50 cm and good water permeability. The basin soil should be rich in humus and organic fertilizer. Before grape budding in spring, first bury the basin along the row spacing of about 35 cm in the soil, and the basin surface should be slightly lower than the soil surface. The bud eye full, with the ability to gently pull down the vine (vine length is not shorter than 80 cm) into the basin, fill, compaction. Leave 4-5 full bud eyes on the pot soil, then insert a 120 cm long thin rod and tie the vines to it. After 20 days of germination, the branches and vines in the basin should be girdled to promote early rooting and multiple rooting. The girdling part is close to the root end of the plant in the pot. The girdling length is 2 cm. The cortex is completely peeled off. After the cuttings bear fruit, leave 5 leaves above the ear to pick the core, so that the plants in the pot are lower than 120 cm. Leave 4-6 ears per pot. Before flowering, remove half of the fruit grains from each ear to ensure that the ears are neat and the fruit grains are uniform.

5. Fertilizer and water management. After the grapes sprout, they should be watered immediately. In order to make the root system developed in the basin, it is necessary to keep the basin soil moist frequently. If the weather is dry, pour water once every 4-6 days, and cover the basin surface with wheat bran or straw to keep moisture after watering. Grape flowers, to combine watering, every 15 days to the pot after a concentration of 3-5% of nitrogen, phosphorus, compound fertilizer.

6. Cut pots for sale. Grape from bud flowering to berry expansion, generally 60-70 days, then the pot root system is very developed, at this time can be cut pot. 5 days before cutting pots, spray 2-3% plant ash extract on leaves twice. One day before cutting pots, some young branches and leaves should be knocked off to reduce water transpiration. Cut basin to be in the evening after pouring water thoroughly. The method is to use scissors to cut the branches and vines near the roots of the plants outside the pots, and exercise them in situ for a few days. When the grape branches and leaves do not wither at noon in sunny days, they can be sold on the market.
