Primroses are the symbol of spring. When primroses bloom, it indicates that spring is coming. The leaves of primroses grow in clusters, the leaves are oval, the flowers are colorful, and the flowers are umbrella-shaped. Primroses are widely planted and have become an important garden flower. Primroses are a kind of flower plants blooming in early spring. The colorful flowers such as red, pink, yellow, white and purple are very beautiful. The flowers planted in low pots are exquisite and lovely, and they are ideal flowers for home decoration. The following is to introduce the planting techniques of primroses:

Primula cultivation management well is not difficult, as greenhouse pot flower species, from sowing to 12 cm pot listing, about 160 days. If sown in July, it can blossom at the beginning of the year. To avoid hot weather, sow seeds in August or blossom in January. The first transplant in a shallow basin or wooden box, the plant distance is about 2 cm, or directly on the 8 cm small basin, the basin soil should not be acidic, and then directly on the 12 cm basin. The planting depth should be moderate, the root is too deep and rotten, and it is too shallow and easy to lodge, so it should be fertilized frequently. The reason for the loss of green leaves, in addition to the acidity of the basin soil, may be too wet or poor drainage. Not only should the sun be shaded in summer, but also shade should be given when the sun is strong in winter to ensure bright colors.

The seedlings are transplanted into the pot, and the flowerpot is generally limited to 12 cm ~ 16 cm. The 2-year-old plant can be enlarged properly. Pay attention to ventilation during the summer, give semi-overcast and prevent showers, spray, scaffolding and ground sprinkling and other measures to cool down. The lowest indoor night temperature in winter should be controlled at about 5 ℃, which should not be too high. However, as potted flowers, if sowing too late (October), the overwintering temperature should be raised to 10 ℃ in order to accelerate growth and ensure timely flowering in next spring.

[reproduction]

Multi-purpose seed propagation can be sowed from spring 3murmurApril to August Murray to September, but most of them are sown in June to July. It blossoms in November, and it is in full bloom from 1mi to February. The seeds are very small and have a short life. The seeds are often sown in a shallow basin with culture soil. The soil at the mouth of the basin is screened, then soaked in water from the bottom hole of the basin to make the soil moist, and the seeds are evenly removed on it. The basin is covered with glass and placed in a shade. After absorbing water, the seeds are covered with a thin layer of sand, which is often kept moist. It can germinate after a week, and the emergence rate is more than 0.3%. The glass can be removed and gradually removed to the place where there is sufficient light. But not in direct sunlight.

[cultivation]

It is usually used for greenhouse potted plants. When the seedling grows out of 5-6 leaves, it is first transplanted into a small basin, and then moved into a larger basin with a diameter of 15-17 cm when there are 7-8 leaves in Changshan. In the basin soil, 2 pieces of rotten leaf soil, 3 parts of garden soil and 1 part of river sand mixed culture soil, and then add appropriate amount of rotten barnyard manure and cooked lime, planting should not be too deep, otherwise perishable stems, based on the rhizosphere and soil level shall prevail. Watering after planting, put it in a cool place and cultivate it for a period of time before entering the normal management.

[light and temperature]

Like cool, avoid high temperature is the basic temperature requirements of primroses. The suitable growth temperature is 20 ℃ in daytime and 5-10 ℃ at night. It can grow well at 12-22 ℃. Under the condition of full growth, 10 ℃ low temperature treatment could promote flower bud differentiation, and the flower blooming time was longer at 12 ℃ temperature. Summer and autumn should be shaded or placed in a sparse shade place to cool down, avoid direct sunlight, and maintain good ventilation. Enter the low temperature and wet chamber in winter and keep the temperature above 5 ℃.

[watering and fertilization]

Watering should be controlled to promote the growth and development of root system. Attention should be paid to watering during the growing period to keep the basin soil moist and dry and not too wet. During the growth period, thin liquid fertilizer should be applied 3-4 times a month, and thick fertilizer should not be applied. It is best to apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, which is beneficial to more flowers. When applying fertilizer, do not spray liquid fertilizer on the leaves. If it splashes on the leaves, rinse it with clean water.

[plastic pruning]

After the flowers withered, the pedicel and residual flowers should be cut off in time, the withered leaves should be removed, and the management should be strengthened to prolong the flowering period.
