1. After receiving the seed ball, first store it in a cool, ventilated environment of about 15 ℃ for 2 days, so that the wound that may be caused during transportation will heal before planting. For long-term storage, it must be stored in a cold storage of 7 ℃ to 10 ℃ (humidity 80%).

2. from planting to flowering and flowering stage, it varies from variety to variety, and long sunshine and high temperature will promote early flowering. Generally speaking, big balls blossom earlier than small ones.

3. When planting bulbs, the bulbs are facing up, and the soil is covered with about 2.5 cm to 3 cm. A 4-inch to 4.5-inch basin can be used for balls ranging from 12 cm to 14 cm, and a 5-inch to 5.5-inch basin for balls ranging from 16 cm to 18 cm. If the basin is too small or shallow, the growth is easy to weaken.

4. The planting medium requires good drainage, good ventilation, pH 6 to 6.5, peat soil content in the cultivated soil 30% to 50%, and other media with large particles to facilitate ventilation, such as sand, bark, perlite, vermiculite and so on.

5. The control of moisture must be moderate. Watering after drying is easy to cause root injury and rot, but it must also be dry before watering.

6, heart leaves avoid wet water, usually watering is not careful, so that sewage drops into the leaf heart, easy to cause soft rot; fertilization should be applied from the edge of the basin, avoid fertilizer liquid drenched into the petiole or splashed into the plant heart, otherwise it is easy to cause yellow leaves or rot; calla lilies are afraid of smoking, otherwise it will cause leaves yellowing and bud shedding.

Note:

And we have to sprout it before sowing and wait until the new buds sprout.

2. The planting depth only needs to be 3-4 cm, and the best depth is about 10 cm. After planting, it is necessary to pour enough water, and then cover the ground with wheat straw, which can not only increase humidity and reduce soil temperature, but also promote bulb germination and rooting.
