One-third of the credit departments of more than 300 agricultural and fishery associations have overdue loans of more than 15%. Chairman Wu Mingmin said that this is a world record at all! The government set up an agricultural treasury in 2005 to deal with the over-release ratio. After 14 years, the over-release ratio has now dropped to 0.45%.

At the gate of the agricultural vault, there are stalls of special agricultural products, including delicious meat dumplings from the Shimen Peasants' Association, shiitake mushrooms from the New Society Peasants' Association, preserved eggs and salted eggs, and green farmers came to display and sell chrysanthemum tea, which almost became the theme of the Dragon Boat Festival. Wu Mingmin introduced the stalls. This year, there are 25 stalls and 30 sources of products. The agricultural treasury is particularly focused on assisting young farmers on issues, so six stalls are reserved for young farmers so that they can expose their good products more.

However, the agricultural treasury has more work to do in the past two years. An information subsidiary was set up in April this year. The goal is to integrate the information flow of the credit departments of 311 agricultural and fishery associations and their branches, a total of 1169 business sites, and to provide more comprehensive services to customers. This subsidiary is currently 550 million wholly owned by the agricultural treasury, and other agricultural and fishing associations will be considered to join in the future.

The purpose of setting up an information subsidiary is to promote the development of information sharing in agricultural and fishery associations. Last year, 158 credit departments joined in the sharing of information, which is already half that of the credit department of the National Agricultural and Fisheries Association. The Agricultural Treasury believes that the establishment of an information sharing business company can enable the effective use of resources and speed up the progress of integration, and can also assist in achieving another goal, that is, the establishment of a logistics platform.

Wu Mingmin explained that on this logistics platform, the products of agricultural and fishing associations can be put on the shelves as long as they have production experience or organic certification. Consumers can shop on this platform conveniently and safely. After placing an order, the information is sent directly to the peasant association to which the product belongs, and the cash flow service is provided by the agricultural treasury. After the product transaction is successful, the agricultural treasury only charges some platform service fees. For the peasant association, there is no burden on the promotion products. You don't have to set up your own website, it doesn't matter if you work hard to manage and maintain it, but also try to make it famous. For consumers who love to buy peasant association brand products, this platform should be very attractive.

A few days ago, the Council of Agriculture greatly reduced the achievement threshold for the children of fishermen to apply for scholarships, and the amount was increased by 30%. Now the agricultural treasury will also be given scholarships, but it is targeted. This year is the trial period. First, students from the agricultural colleges of Taiwan University and ZTE University in China are targeted, and scholarships are provided to them to train more outstanding agricultural professionals.
