Mayor Han Guoyu pointed out that the storm and torrential rain caused more than 400 hectares of damage, which dealt a heavy blow to farmers. The Kaohsiung Municipal Bureau of Agriculture reminded that the disaster was accepted until May 31, appealing to farmers in Liugui, Shanlin, Qishan and Meinong districts to promptly hold ID cards, seals, farmers' association deposit books, land ownership certificates or land use consent forms and other relevant documents before the deadline to ensure their rights and interests.
