How to grow tulip bulbs

We often see it in flower shows or plantations, blooming as beautiful as its name. In fact, tulips can also be planted in pots, which is undoubtedly good news for friends who like tulips.

We have to choose the bulbs before planting tulips. Because as a family potted plant, young plants are often obtained by planting bulbs or bulbs. When choosing tulip bulbs or bulbs, we choose full and strong bulbs. And before planting, if moldy parts are found, the skin should be peeled off and then soaked in carbendazim diluent for half an hour to disinfect and sterilize. The planting steps are as follows:

First, seed ball treatment

2. Disinfection and sterilization

The peeled seed balls were soaked in carbendazim diluent for a period of time to achieve the effect of disinfection and sterilization. When using carbendazim, it is recommended to dilute it by 1000 times, soak the bulb for about half an hour, and then take it out to dry.

3. Soil flowerpots

First of all, we need to prepare the culture soil, if you think it is too troublesome to prepare the soil, you can go to the flower market to buy special soil for bulbs. However, whether it is their own configuration or the purchase of special soil, basin soil should be fertile, loose, breathable as the principle. Then prepare a flowerpot of the right size and prepare it for planting.

IV. Key points of planting

After all the preparations before potting are ready, we can plant them in pots. First of all, make the drainage layer at the bottom of the basin, then spread the soil, then implant the seed ball, and then cover the soil. The whole operation process is relatively simple, but it should be noted that the depth of planting bulb is generally 3 times the size of bulb, and the depth of covering soil is 2 times the size of bulb.

5. Watering after planting

Watering should be controlled in the later stage, and the watering principle should be "see dry and wet". Must not water too much so as not to cause stagnant water in the basin, nor long-term lack of water caused by poor growth phenomenon.

VI. Placement location

After completing the above steps, we need to move the flowerpot to an outdoor cool and ventilated place for management, which can promote the rooting and vernalization of the bulb. Shading and light protection measures should be taken in the first two weeks, which is more conducive to root germination; after budding and tender leaves, we can gradually increase light to promote photosynthesis and keep young plants growing well.
