How to grow buttercup
Speaking of buttercups, it really makes us love and hate. I have heard the truth of many kinds of buttercups, but I can't raise this onion well. In the end, how to plant buttercup seeds? there is a lot of theoretical knowledge about buttercup sowing on the Internet. Xiaomei specially collected and sorted out the experience of various flower friends for novice flower friends' reference.
Ranunculus likes cold and cool, and the root system likes moist and afraid of waterlogging. It is necessary to control water at the seedling stage, not dry or irrigated, which requires a large amount of water at the flowering stage. If lack of water, it is easy to cause irreversible wilting. In the seedling stage, the best temperature was lower than 15 ℃ in daytime, 5-8 ℃ at night, and the best growth was when the temperature difference was less than 10 ℃. If the temperature is above 20 ℃ for a long time, the leaves will be yellowed.
First, sowing time
Buttercups can be sown in mid-September at the earliest. If you want to open in New Year's Day's Spring Festival, you need to sow seeds in early August, but you must first sprout at low temperature and then sow. It is said that some studies have shown that when the dried seeds are pretreated at low temperature (- 1 ℃ plus minus 0.2 ℃) in a closed environment, the seed vigor is the best, (5 ℃ plus minus 0.2 ℃ compared to minus 1 degree Celsius), and the lower temperature vigor decreases.
Second, germination temperature
Buttercup seeds higher than 20 ℃ are not easy to sprout, so sow in late autumn (flower friends should think carefully because of the difference in temperature between the north and the south).
Practice:
Buttercup seeds can be put in the refrigerator to promote germination, because the best germination temperature is 5-15 ℃, the germination time is usually about 10-20 days, and there are also those who wait for 30 days to germinate. Flower friends should be patient. Fresh buttercup seeds germinate more easily.
From sowing to flowering
It takes about 5-6 months for buttercup to blossom from sowing to flowering. If it germinates at the end of October of that year, it usually blossoms at the beginning of March of the next year. Buttercups are difficult to spend the summer, but it is more appropriate to sow in autumn and bloom in the following spring.
IV. Florescence management
In order to enrich the flower stem and prevent lodging, the amount of potash fertilizer should be increased before budding, and bud thinning should be carried out at the initial stage of budding. In order to reduce the height of buttercup, a certain amount of paclobutrazol soluble powder can be sprayed at the initial stage of flowering, or 15% paclobutrazol soluble powder can be sprayed during bud reproduction. The residual flowers should be cut off in time when the temperature is kept at 15-18 ℃, and the flowering period can be as long as 1-2 months.
V. Post-anthesis management
After the flowers fade, the aboveground stems and leaves should gradually wither and yellow. for the plants that do not leave seeds, when the petals fall off, the residual flowers should be cut off in time, and make full use of the time from the flowers to the branches and leaves are withered and yellow, so that the flowers and leaves can produce more nutrients and transport them to the underground roots, so that they can grow, develop and enrich. When the temperature rises after summer, pick the root tuber when it is sunny for 2-3 days, then rinse, sterilize, air dry, put it in a dry and cool place, and store it until autumn.
