Dandelion is not only nutritious, but also has good value for use, so many people like to plant it as a family pot, in addition to edible and medicinal value, but also for viewing, because the small yellow flowers of dandelion are very exquisite, and the fruit with crown hair is also very elegant when fluttering with the wind.

Dandelion mostly uses the way of sowing to breed seedlings, when the seedlings grow to a certain height, and then transplant into the pot at the right time. What needs to be done in the future is the maintenance work. As long as it is well managed, potted dandelions not only grow luxuriantly, but also wait for the opportunity to harvest leaves for making tea. Let's take a look at the potted planting techniques of dandelion.

1. Making soil

The soil used for sowing dandelion should choose sandy loam rich in organic matter, which requires fertile soil and good permeability, and can be sown after leveling the surface nutrient soil.

Second, soaking seeds to accelerate germination

In order to promote the germination of seeds, it is recommended to soak the seeds and accelerate germination before sowing. Soak the seeds in clean water for 2 hours, then moisturize and germinate in 15-20 ℃, and then germinate after about 1 week.

Third, sow seeds

Sow the seeds after soaking and sprouting on the nutritious soil, if propagated in large quantities, sow 2-4 grams of seeds per square meter, and then cover a fine soil about 0.5 cm thick. Do a good job in moisturizing during this period, and if it goes well, seedlings can emerge after a week.

IV. Management at seedling stage

After the seeds emerge smoothly, it is necessary to do a good job in the management of the seedling stage. Generally, it is necessary to loosen the soil after emergence to promote the seedling to germinate the root system better; when the seedling pulls out 2-3 leaves, it can fix the seedling and divide the seedling, and also need to do a good job of thinning seedlings; timely do a good job in water and fertilizer management, but to avoid excessive intake of water and fertilizer.

5. Transplanting and planting

When dandelion seedlings sprout a large number of roots, after the smooth extraction of leaves, we have to wait for the opportunity to do a good job of transplanting seedlings in a timely manner. After finishing the pot, move the flowerpot to a cool and ventilated place to slow down the seedlings, and do a good job of heat preservation and moisturizing during the period. After successfully taking the pot, it can gradually provide light for it.

VI. Maintenance and management

The maintenance and management of dandelion seedlings after planting on the pot should not be careless, when the air temperature reaches 6-8 ℃, the seedlings will grow gradually; if placed indoors, it is necessary to provide a temperature environment of more than 10 ℃, because the best growth temperature of dandelion is between 10-20 ℃; at the same time, do a good job in fertilization and water control management, foliar fertilizer is applied 1-2 times in internal medicine during the growing period, with dilute urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate diluent is suitable. And it usually needs to be fertilized properly after harvest.

7. Timely harvest

When the leaves of potted dandelions grow to 8-10 cm in length, they can be harvested for the first time. If the maintenance and management work is done well in the later stage, it can be harvested again after 3 weeks. Of course, you can wait for the opportunity to continue harvesting in the later stage, but you have to wait 2-3 days after each harvest before watering, otherwise it is prone to rot.
